Los Angeles Dodgers vs. St. Louis Cardinals MLB Betting Odds & Prediction from Matt Fargo: May 24th 2017

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. St. Louis Cardinals
MLB Betting Prediction: St. Louis +146 odds (May 24th 2017)

St. Louis was unable to get to Clayton Kershaw which is the case for almost every team and it eventually lost in 13 innings last night. The Cardinals have now dropped five of their last six games but they are once again catching a big number and this time around, the pitching matchup is in their favor. Despite the recent struggles, the Cardinals are 9-1 in their last 10 road games. Los Angeles has won two straight and five of its last six games as it continues to keep pace in the American League West with Colorado and Arizona. Mike Leake did not adjust well to his move to St. Louis as he was nothing but average but so far this season, he is living up to his First Round draft pick status. He has a 2.03 ERA and 0.99 WHIP through eight starts, all of which have been quality outings. People may think this is a fluke but he has always had the potential and the dominance this year can be attributed to his cutter which he is using more and it has been much more effective. He can tame the Dodgers offense and going back, the Cardinals are 6-1 in his last seven starts when their opponent scores two runs or less in their previous game. Rich Hill gets the ball for the Dodgers and he had a successful return to the rotation after once again having blister issues. He still went just five innings and tossed only 82 pitchers so he is still being held back and not coming back too aggressively. He has had more time off here but the Dodgers are 0-4 in his last four starts with seven or more days of rest. Play (909) St. Louis Cardinals

Matt is on a +$2,820 profitable run on the bases thanks to underdog winners including the +181 Giants, +172 Marlins and +157 Braves and he continues the roll here! He returns Wednesday to keep it going as he has isolated another pair of Underdogs with huge value so do not miss it as we shoot for a PERFECT 2-0 Underdog SWEEP! Guaranteed to profit!

Kansas City Royals vs. New York Yankees Betting Odds & Prediction from Brandon Lee: May 23rd 2017

Kansas City Royals vs. New York Yankees
MLB Betting Prediction: Yankees -141 odds (May 23rd 2017)

We have a rematch on the mound here from last week with the Yankees Jordan Montgomery fell on the road to Royals starter Danny Duffy. KC won that contest 5-1, with all 5 runs by the Royals coming against Montgomery. It was a bit of bad luck for Montgomery, who only allowed 4 hits. With the series shifting venues, I look for New York to get revenge for their starter. Keep in mind this is a Royals team that is a mere 6-15 on the road (NY is 14-6 at home), scoring just 2.9 runs/game this season against left-handed starters and hitting .218 as a team on the road. Duffy pitched well against the Yankees last time out, giving up just 3 hits with 10 strikeouts over 7 shutout innings, yet still has a 5.88 ERA over his 6 career starts against New York. Give me the Yankees -141!

Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Ottawa Senators NHL Over-Under Playoffs Odds & Pick from Scott Rickenbach: May 23rd 2017

| May 23, 2017

Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Ottawa Senators
NHL Over-Under Playoffs Pick: Under 5 goals -110 odds (May 23rd 2017)

Scott “The Bulldog” Rickenbach NHL Tuesday Free Pick UNDER 5 goals (+125) in Ottawa Senators vs Pittsburgh Penguins @ 8 ET – Over the past 5 months – dating all the way back to mid-December – the Penguins have gone 4 straight games without an under only 1 time! That said, the last 3 games have featured 2 overs and a push and I like the value being offered on the under here. Nice plus money return with the UNDER 5 goals in this one. Ottawa knows they have to return to a defensive-minded game after getting completely out-skilled in the Game 5 loss in Pittsburgh.

The Senators found out the hard way that they certainly are unwise to try and get into a fast-paced shootout with the Penguins. That said, and returning to home ice after back to back losses, I look for the Sens to have strong emphasis on defense and clogging up the neutral zone to slow down the Pens skilled forwards in this one. The Senators are fighting for their playoff lives after blowing the 2-1 series lead and the under is 28-15 in Sens games this season when they are playing with revenge. Free Pick UNDER 5 goals in Ottawa Tuesday evening. Best of luck, Scott “The Bulldog” Rickenbach

Atlanta Braves vs. Pittsburgh Pirates MLB Betting Odds & Prediction from Will Rogers: May 22nd 2017

| May 22, 2017

Atlanta Braves vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
MLB Betting Prediction: Pittsburgh -129 odds (May 22nd 2017)

The set-up: What’s going on with the Braves? Atlanta lost six in a row from May 3 through May 10 to fall to 11-20. However, the Braves took two of three in Miami and then won three of four at Toronto before falling just short of sweeping Washington on Sunday, when they dropped a 3-2 decision in the finale of their three-game series. Pittsburgh is 2-0-1 in its last three series, after capturing two of three against Philadelphia over the weekend. The Pirates visit SunTrust Park with a 20-24 record.

The pitching matchup: Gerrit Cole (2-4 & 2.84 ERA) will get the ball for Pittsburgh and Mike Foltynewicz (2-4 & 4.10 ERA) for Atlanta. Cole finally ended his five-start winless streak last Wednesday, when he limited Washington to one run on three hits over seven innings in a 6-1 victory. Cole has been unlucky in 2017, as after allowing five runs in his season debut at Boston on April 3, he’s never allowed more than three runs in any his other eight starts. In fact, he has allowed two earned runs or less in each of his last seven outings but is only 2-3 (team is 3-4). Foltynewicz has won two consecutive starts, including last Wednesday vs.  Toronto in which he allowed three runs aon six hits over six innings of an 8-4 win. It was only the second time in seven outings this season that he has given up more than two ERs and fifth occasion in the last six starts in which he has worked at least six frames.

The pick: However, Foltynewicz remains in search of his first career win against the Pirates, as he fell to 0-3 with a 9.00 ERA in three starts against them on April 7 after yielding two runs on six hits and three walks in 3 2/3 innings at Pittsburgh in a 5-4 loss. As for Cole, he has yet to lose to Atlanta in his career, going 3-0 with a 2.25 ERA in five starts all Pittsburgh wins. Can you say 6-0?
