Rogers Centre will be the site of a Tuesday night clash where the Toronto Blue Jays play host to the Kansas City Royals.
This series kicked off on Monday night with Toronto stealing an 8-1 win from the visitors.
Perhaps the addition of C Jason Kendall really has helped out 26 year old Kyle Davies, as he has assembled two very consistent starts so far this season against very tough lineups.
Davies is coming off of his first ‘W’ of the season six days ago in Detroit. He gave up just three earned runs in 6.2 innings, allowing seven hits and three walks in the process. His lineup put seven runs on the board that day, and the bullpen nailed down the victory with 2.1 spotless frames.
LHP Dana Eveland is making a heck of an impression on his new teammates. After coming over from Oakland in the offseason, the southpaw has thrown two very impressive games, allowing just two runs in six frames against the White Sox and blanking the Orioles in 7.1 innings.
Eveland is 2-0 with a 1.35 ERA and 0.98 WHIP to show for his two MLB betting starts so far this year after winning just two games all of last season.
The Royals are just 6-20 in their L/26 visits to the Great White North
Unless RHP Zach Greinke is on the mound, the Royals are just a tough team to back when on the road. Davies has the stuff to baffle this Toronto lineup, but we’re not confident enough in a bullpen which has an MLB worst 7.62 ERA for the season to back this squad quite yet.
