Pick: Hofstra +2.5
On Tuesday the Free NCAAB Play is on Hofstra. Game 565 at 8:00 eastern. Hofstra is a live dog here tonight as they travel to Evansville knowing they are a perfect 6-0 straight up the last 3 years as a road dog of 3 or less points. In their last game they allowed a season high 57% from the field. As we look at the mediocre defensive performance we note that Hofstra has won 3 of the next 4 games after allowing 50% or higher from the field in their previous game. They are a 21 win teams and take on an Evansville team that is .500 on the year and lucky to be in any post season tournament. Evansville is just 5-11 vs winning teams, 3-7 after allowing 60 or less points and 6-17, including 0-4 most recently in all tournament games. Look for Hofstra to get the cash tonight. On Tuesday I have the NBA Eastern Conference Game of the Month Backed with a killer System that has cashed all but once since 1995. I also have a Big 1st round NIT System side that dates to 1990. Jump on tonight and cash big. For the free Play take Hofstra. -Rob Vinciletti

Pick: Boston College -5.5
McNeese State Cowboys lost by an average of 22 points against five BCS schools in their non conference slate. Boston College on the road here, and after a hot Clemson pasted them in the ACC tourney, I expect them to win this by 12-14 points. BC won their last 3 road games of the season, one against VT, and all games won by an average margin of victory by over 15 ppg. Could go on and on, but in this case, a HUGE step up in class for the Cowboys, and as evidenced by non conference foes pounding them, I expect the same result, BC big time battle tested. -Tony George (Handicapperspicks.com)

Prediction: Purdue -9
Iowa has just been awful, dropping 6 in a row SU, and going 2-4 ATS. In their L2 contests, the Hawkeyes lost by 13 to Illinois and 19 to Michigan State. Purdue has had the upper hand over Iowa, winning 8 meetings in a row SU, covering 5 of the 8. In their only match up this season, the Boilermakers shredded the Hawkeyes, 75-52. In the L2 meetings between the squads, Purdue has won by a combined 46 points. JaJuan Johnson and E’Twaun Moore are combining for 39.1 PPG and 13.3 RPG. The team has just returned Anthony Johnson from injury. The Guard adds to the already potent arsenal. Coming into this game, the Boilermakers have won 7 in a row SU, going 6-1 ATS. Purdue still has a shot at the top regional seed for the Tournament if they keep on pace. They are 6-1 ATS their L7 vs. the Big 10 and 6-1 ATS their L7 as a favorite. Iowa is 1-4 ATS their L5 vs. the Big 10 and 1-4 ATS their L5 overall. Take Purdue. Thank you. -Joseph D’Amico

Prediction: Connecticut -2.5
UConn hasn’t played as well as it would have liked down the stretch, but I fully expect the Huskies to rise to the occasion on senior day. UConn enjoys one of the best home courts in the nation. This season, the Huskies are 13-3 at home with an average margin of victory of 11.9 points. Notre Dame knows firsthand how difficult it is to win at UConn. That’s because the Irish have lost their last 7 on the road in this series. The Irish are very susceptible on the road because of their reliance on the 3-point shot. I have to think they didn’t save enough threes for this one after making 20 against Villanova Monday. The Fighting Irish are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a road underdog, 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games versus a team with a winning home record and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as a road underdog of 6.5 points or less. In addition, we can’t ignore the fact that Notre Dame is just 1-10 ATS under coach Brey following a blowout win by 20 points or more. Expect the Huskies to do a good job of defending the 3-point stripe as they get the win and cover this afternoon. Lay the number. -Jimmy Boyd

Prediction: East Carolina +11.5
Way too many points as UAB is a solid team but won’t cover this big number. UAB struggled to beat ECU at ECU earlier this year pulling out late 7 pt win. ECU is coming off big win against MEM which we have in our power rankings above this UAB team. ECU is 4-1 ATS L5 road games at UAB. Sherrod is coming off 28 in MEM win for ECU and tonight he backs it up with another 20 plus performance keeping this one much closer than 12. -Craig Trapp

Prediction: Colorado -4.5
Nebraska 1-6 on the road and last Saturday lost to lowly Iowa State on the road. Off a big win on Wednesday for NU against Mizzou, this is a tough game and tough matchup for Nebraska whose defense will have issues on the road against the high scoring Buffs. Buffs still trying to get a higher seed in Big 12 tourney and a must win for post season consideration for both teams, Colorado a different animal at home and beat Texas in here last week. NU falls here by 10. -Tony George (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: San Diego State -3
Since BYU beat the Aztecs last month they have lost just once to New Mexico on the road. The Cougars are of course led by Player Of the Year candidate guard Jimmer Fredette. Few have slowed him down and he dropped 43 points in the win over the Aztecs last month. As you can see from the ATS record, as good as the Cougars have been all season long they haven’t been a very good bet for “investors”. Since losing to BYU last month the Aztecs have been perfect (7-0 SU/4-3 ATS). SDSU wins with talent, but it is nearly evenly distributed among several experienced players and they play smartly as a unit. People may want to discount the Mountain West Conference but this is a huge game. It was moved to national TV on CBS and the winner could easily be a #1 seed on selection Sunday. If you ask me, I think it is possible they could both deserve that honour though that seems like too heady territory for anyone that makes those decisions to consider. The Aztecs have yet to lose at home this season at 13-0 and have been a solid bet there as well (7-4 ATS). I think those winning ways will continue. Trends I like for this one include Aztecs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600. Are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 home games vs. a team with a winning road record, and are 12-4-1 ATS in their last 17 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. Score will be around SDSU 75 – BYU 70. -Ray Monohan

Pick: Duquesne -4.5
On Saturday the Free NCAAB Power Angle Play is on Duquesne. Game 641 at 8:00 eastern. Duquesne has won and covered every time most recently as a road favorite from -3.5 to -6 and has won 27 of 31 vs losing teams. In this role this season they are 9-0 overall and 6-0 ats in lined games. They have also covered every time vs teams who score less than 63 points per game. Tonight they take on the St. Louis. The Billikens are 2-13 straight up and 3-12 ats vs winning teams. When coming off a non conference game they have failed to cover 10 of 12 times. Even worse is their 0-5 spread mark vs teams who average 76 or more points per game. Thye have revenge for an earlier loss to Duquesne. However they are 0-5 against the spread with revenge of late. Look for Duquesne to get the win and cover. On Saturday its the deepest card of the year backed with the West Coast Conf. Game of the Year, 26-1 High noon Power play, the Big RPI System side and 5* Big East Dominator Play. In the NBA we continue to roll now 17 games over .500 and tonight its a 100% NBA Perfect Totals system that averages 219 ppg. We swept going 3-0 overall last night. For the Free Play take Duquesne. -Rob Vinciletti (Handicapperspicks.com)

Prediction: Marquette +5.5
The Golden Eagles have very little room for error if they wish to make it to the dance this season, they will need a strong finish and some help. This matchup should help, as they own superior athleticism and shooting ability along with solid veteran leaders on the floor. Marquette has been tough on the conference road in the right situation. The Golden Eagles are 25-8 ATS facing a conference foe after going under at home in their last game. If they are on the highway that record improves to 18-3 ATS including 6-0 ATS in this price range. When installed as a conference road underdog in this situation they are a blistering 12-2 against the number including a perfect 5-0 ATS with a line range of 3 to 6.5 points. Marquette has done a nice job when coming off a home game posting a record of 75-47-3 ATS if they are on the road in their next game their record is 42-23-2 ATS. When the oddsmakers have installed the Eagles as an underdog off a home game they have responded going 33-18-1 ATS. If they are coming off a home victory in their last game they are 60-36-3 ATS, put them on the road and their record is 36-19-2 ATS. Strong technical support along with need could spell disaster for the host as we also note the underdog in this particular series has covered five of the last six meetings overall. Take the generous points here as the Golden Eagles overpower the Huskies and shock them on Thursday night. -Robbie Gainous

Prediction: Northeastern +16
Visiting Northeastern is going into a gym down in Virginia where the opponent is on absolute fire. The talented, deep and well coached Patriots (Larranaga) should have an easy time extending their 13 game win streak against the combative, but thin Huskies. However, that does not necessarily insure an ATS money earner. Remember, GM is coming off back-to-back road wins over VCU and Northern Iowa (Bracket-Buster) and have just Georgia State next to finalize their regular season. If there is ever a spot for a MAJOR LETDOWN, this is it. Yes, the Patriots are sizzling with a perfect 14 game win streak in Las Vegas, but the line tension on the Vegas board is evident. Plus, I expect public dollars to follow George Mason, while the Huskies dribble in a 26-point revenge motive from earlier this season. One point in the NBA. Sunday night on ESPN, the Heat will face the Knicks, Triple Ego versus Amarie and Melo. The major question is which club will have more movie actors in the front row, my money is on Spike and the boys.’ Listen to Brad Diamond every Saturday morning on ESPN 1700 in California. -Brad Diamond (Handicapperspicks.com)

Prediction: UTEP -7
On Monday the free NCAAB Totals Play is on the Under in the Central Florida at UTEP Game. Rotation numbers 727/728 at 1:00 eastern. Both teams have solid under angles in play today. UTEP has gone under in 8 of their last 9 home games, all 5 times vs winning teams in the second half and 4 of 5 vs teams who allow 65 or less points per game. They have also gone under 10 of 12 times when favored. Central Florida has played under 19 of 27 times off a conference loss, 3 of 4 with 1 or less day of rest and 8 of 12 after scoring 60 or less. Both games here have gone under most recently. Look for this one to follow suit today. On Monday I have the 94% MAC Conference Power Angle winner and the Triple Angle Side play in the Big East showdown between Syracuse and Villanova. Jump on these two College hoops plays. Take The Under in the Central Florida at UTEP game today. -Rob Vinciletti

Prediction: Kent State Pk
A nice matchup on tap tonight at the Read Fieldhouse in Kalamazoo, MI. Both teams need to win this game for their hopes of winning the MAC regular-season championship. I like the line value on this play with Kent State as a PK. They should essentially be road favorites with a better 17-9 record. They would probably be a 1-2 point favorite of not for their 2 recent losses. The difference maker in this one will be Flashes PG Michael Porrini. He can dictate the pace, the tempo, and will also guard the opponents best player most nights. The Broncos don`t have this type of threat tonight. Some trends I like for this one include the Golden Flashes are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss. Are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. loss. Broncos are 2-6-2 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. Broncos are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Broncos are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games. -Ray Monohan (Handicapperspicks.com)
