Pick: Timberwolves vs. Mavericks Over 184
The Dallas Mavericks are more of an up-tempo team now without Dirk Nowitzki on the floor. I look for this game to be fast-paced tonight between the Mavs and Minnesota Timberwolves in Dallas. The Timberwolves hvae been a solid offensive team this year, scoring 95.0 points/game. They are allowing 94.6 points/game, combining with their opponents for 189.6 points/game on average. As you can see, that number is over five points more than the posted total tonight, providing us with some nice line value here. Dallas will look to run more now that they don’t have to run their offense through Dirk, which forces them to play at a slower tempo when he’s on the floor. Dallas and Minnesota have combined to score 186 or more points in six of their last seven meetings. I fully expect this one to finish with 186-plus tonight as well. Take the OVER 184 points here. -Black Widow
Pick: Seton Hall -7
Notre Dame upset Syracuse at home Saturday, but it hasn’t been the same team on the road. In fact, it is 1-7 SU and ATS when playing away from home this season, losing those games by an average of 11.5 points. After back-to-back road games, Seton Hall will be happy to be home, where it is 10-0 SU and 6-1 ATS this season with an average winning margin of 14.5 points. The Pirates are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as a home favorite of 7.0-12.5 points. We’ll take Seton Hall. -Jeff Alexander
Pick: Oklahoma State +9.5
Oklahoma State will be fired up for 2nd ranked Missouri, who finds itself in a letdown spot following Saturday’s big upset win at Baylor. I won’t hesitate to side with the home team here as the Tigers are 18-39 ATS in their last 57 road games, and the Cowboys are 34-16-2 ATS in their last 52 home games. Plus, the underdog is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings in this series. Take the points. -Dave Price

Pick: Mavericks vs. Pistons Over 182.5
On Tuesday the Free NBA Total system Play is on the Over in the Dallas at Detroit Game. Rotation numbers 507/508 at 7:35 eastern. This game fits a nice totals system that has cashed 13 of 16 times. What we want to do is play the Over for rested road favorites of 5 or more that scored 90 or more as a home favorite of 10 or more and are facing an opponent that scored 80 or less as a road last out. The Mavs are off a home win last out and take on the Pistons who were mauled by the Bulls last night scoring just 68 points. The Pistons have gone over in 10 of their last 11 home games when the total is 180 to 185 and the Mavericks have flown over in 14 of their last 20 vs Central Division teams. In the series 3 of the last 4 have gone over the total. Look for this one to go Over as well. On Tuesday I have 2 Plays in hoops. The Big 12 Game of the Month backed with a solid system and 7 Power Angles and a 100% NBA Power System Side, direct from the database. Jump on now and Cash out on Tuesday. For the Free play take the over in the Dallas at Detroit game. -Rob Vinciletti
Pick: Toronto Raptors +1.5
Toronto has actually been better on the road than at home and the Raptors are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a home winning percentage of less than .400. Then there are the winless Wizards. Who wants to back them? The Wizards are 19-39 ATS in their last 58 games as a favorite. Raptors are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Washington and the road team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings. Play Toronto! -Jim Feist
Pick: Creighton -6.5
Free Play from Doc’s Sports. #572 Take Creighton over Northern Iowa (9 pm Local) Normally taking the points is the way to cash in the MVC, but Creighton is far and away the best team in the league and laying under a touchdown is too good to pass up tonight in Omaha. Creighton holds a 27-15 lead in the all-time series with NIU. The teams split the regular season series last year, but Creighton won when the two met in the MVC Tournament. The Bluejays have already lost a home game this season and thus they will not take this game lightly. Northern Iowa has covered just 3 of their last 12 MVC games and this line is low based on their reputation, but they are not as strong as in past years. Creighton is 13-3 ATS in their last 16 home games. Do not miss Doc’s Sports Super Tuesday card in college basketball, NBA Basketball, and NHL Hockey. Pick: Golden State Warriors +11
would take double digits points with almost any team that is playing MEM. Yes the Grizz have been good at home ATS but not often have they had to lay this high of a number. GS has been playing well covering 2 of last 3 including a near win last night at OKC. Usually a back to back is not a team you want to put a play on but this young GS team is pretty good in back to back games ATS going 8-7 on the season. MEM Grizzlies are 1-11 ATS in their last 12 games as a favorite of 11.0 or greater. way too many pts take GS for our Free Sports Pick for today. -Craig Trapp
Pick: Houston Rockets +3
The Sixers lost an OT back breaker to Sacramento on Sunday at the Wachovia Center, then turned around and defeated Chicago Monday both SU & ATS as a double digit UNDERDOG in Chicago. Think the sports-betting public is confused? Back in February Philadelphia defeated Houston 114-105. Now we have sweet REVENGE for the visitors who will find some technical data favoring their chances. The UNDERDOG in the series is a red hot 13-3 ATS, while the road team corresponds with a majestic 13-3 ATS anchor. Further, the Rockets have earned in Philly covering 7 of the last 9. Good Luck. -Brad Diamond
Pick: Dallas Mavericks -5.5
The Clippers are 29-45 straight up this year. Los Angeles is 13-40 ATS their last 53 games vs. NBA Southwest teams. The Clippers are 4-10 ATS their 14 games vs. Western Conference teams. The Clippers are 0-5 ATS their last 5 home games and they are 1-6 ATS their last 7 games overall. Dallas is 52-21 straight up this year. The Mavericks are 11-5 ATS their last 16 road games. Dallas is 16-5 ATS vs. NBA Pacific teams. The Mavericks are 28-8-1 ATS their last 30 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Dallas is 5-0 ATS their last 5 meetings with the Clippers. PLAY ON DALLAS -Tom Freese
Pick: Sacramento Kings +12
Denver keeps winning so oddsmakers keep pushing the numbers up on this young team. They face a young, hungry Sacramento Kings team that is undervalued, with the Kings 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. They are also 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Sacramento is on a 3-0 SU/ATS run despite being an underdog in every game! And the Kings are 3-1-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings with Denver. Play the Kings. -Jim Fiest (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Detroit Pistons +7
The boys from the Motor City travel south for a meeting against the Hawks of ATL. The Pistons have struggled on the road straight up this season but they have done all right covering the number on the road as an underdog going 19-15 ATS. They are a much better road underdog than the Hawks are a home favorite; Atlanta is just 9-20 ATS when favored at home. These teams have gone in opposite directions in the scoring department over their last five games. Detroit is averaging 101 points per game their last five games (103.4 points per game L11 games) while Atlanta has seen their scoring production fall to 89.3 points per game over their last five contests. The Hawks scoring issues are even more pervasive as we see they are only averaging 88.3 points per game over their last fifteen contests, they will certainly need more production on the offensive end today to cover such a large number. A quick check of the database reveals several strong tech sets that support our play on the Pistons here are just a few. Atlanta is 11-22 ATS coming off a home game this season. The Hawks have also struggled when coming off a home loss, as they are 0-8 ATS in home games off a home loss this season and 5-21 ATS off a home blowout loss of 20 points or more since 1996. These particular Birds have not done a good job of rebounding from a home loss even if it was an embarrassing blowout loss, as our tech set would indicate. One final note Detroit has recently had the upper hand in this series going 5-2 against the number the last seven meetings. Take the points here as the Detroit Pistons give the Atlanta Hawks all they can stand on Sunday afternoon in ATL. -Robbie Gainous
Pick: Golden State +9.5
At 7:30 pm, our complimentary selection is on the Golden State Warriors plus the points over Dallas. Over the previous eight days, the Mavericks had two huge games — both at home — vs. the Los Angeles Lakers, and the San Antonio Spurs. And they lost both, 96-91 to L.A., and 97-91 to the Spurs. Neither game was as close as the final scores indicate, as Los Angeles held Dallas at arm’s length for much of the last three quarters, and the Spurs were up by double digits for much of their game. Dallas now has virtually no chance of catching Los Angeles for the No. 2 seed out west, and is actually much more likely to fall to No. 4 behind Oklahoma City, which has won six straight games. The Mavs have failed to cover seven of nine overall, and can’t be trusted to lay this many points to a Warriors squad that plays hard every game. Take Golden State. Good luck, as always…Al McMordie. Pick: Charlotte vs. Houston Over 200
True, the Bobcats are a little “offensively challenged.” However, this number is still very low, for a game involving the Rockets. The Rockets are off a (rare) low-scoring game vs. Phoenix on Monday, earning a 95-93 victory. Their previous five games averaged 217 combined points though, each producing a minimum of 207 combined points. For the season, Houston games are averaging a whopping 210.2 points. Note that the “over” is a profitable 8-3 in Houston’s last 11 games against teams with a losing record. The Bobcats, who are off an “upset” win at Toronto, have seen two of their last three games finish above the total. They’ve seen the “over” go 10-3 the last 13 times that they were off a SU win, when listed as an underdog. Consider the Over. Dallas is 47-20 straight up this year. The Mavericks are 6-2 ATS their last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Dallas is 13-5 ATS their last 18 Wednesday games. Dallas is 12-5 ATS when their opponent allows 100 or more points in their last game. The Mavs are 13-5 ATS vs. NBA Pacific teams. PLAY ON DALLAS – Tom Freese (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Dallas Mavericks -11
The All-Star break can’t get here fast enough for this Kings team, which is dealing with tension between players and a foot injury to star guard Tyreke Evans. The Kings were crushed by 30 at Oklahoma City last night, and this one could get ugly as well. The Kings have played the Mavs tough in two prior meetings this season, losing by just two points in each. However, I expect the rested Mavs to flex their muscles this evening. The Mavericks have averaged 114.6 points on 51.7 percent shooting during a 13-game home winning streak over Sacramento that spans nearly 8 years. While many teams are motivated following such embarrassing defeats, the Kings haven’t been one of them lately. In fact, they are just 9-20 ATS in their last 29 games following a loss of more than 10 points and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game. The Kings are just 4-13-1 ATS in the last 18 meetings in Dallas, and I expect their struggles in the Big “D” to continue. Lay the points.
Pick: Utah Jazz -4.5
Utah is 28-14 ATS after playing a game as a road underdog over the last 2 seasons, and are 17-6 ATS after a road game where both teams score 100 or more points over the last 2 seasons. Utah is also 25-14 ATS versus poor defensive teams – allowing 99+ points/game – 2nd half of the season over the last 2 seasons. Golden State is just 6-18 on the road this season, and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a SU win of more than 10 points. -Info Plays
Pick: Loyola-Chicago -3
On Wednesday the Horizon League Power Play is on Loyola Chicago. Game 773 at 8:00 eastern. Loyola is 8-2 vs losing teams and has won and covered every times the past 3 years as a road favorite of 3 or less. They have won 11 of 15 games vs teams who score 65 or less points per game and are taking on an Illinois Chicago team that is 2-11 vs winning teams and 3-8 straight up and ats after scoring 60 or less points. They have lost 10 of 12 with revenge and are 2-13 in conference good for last place. In the battle of 2 windy city team take Illinois Chicago. On Wednesday its the 6* Double Perfect Conference USA goy and 2 Big NBA plays including eastern Conference Game of the Month and 100% Blowout system. Three Big games up now. -Rob Vinciletti (Handicapperspicks.com)
