Prediction: Portland Trailblazers +1.5
Dwight Howard will serve his 1-game suspension tonight when the Orlando Magic host the Portland Trail Blazers. NBA rules mandate an automatic one-game suspension when a player accumulates 16 technical fouls in a season. The Blazers are very strong inside with LaMarcus Aldridge, Marcus Camby and Gerald Wallace. Portland will dominate the paint tonight and will have a huge rebounding edge which will lead to a nice road victory for them. Orlando lost at Portland 97-83 on Dec. 9 despite 39 points and 15 rebounds from Howard. The rest of the Magic scored 44 points and shot 17 of 51 (33.3 percent). The Blazers are finally getting healthy with Brandon Roy and Camby recently returning to the line-up. They put together one of their most complete performances of the season with a 93-69 home victory over the Charlotte Bobcats last time out. This will only be Portland’s 2nd game in 5 days so they will be fresh and ready to go. The Trail Blazers are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Magic are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. Bet the Blazers Monday. -Jack Jones

Prediction: Sacramento Kings +4.5
On Monday the NBA Free system play is on the Sacramento Kings. Game 514 at 10:00 eastern. The Kings fit a solid home dog system here tonight. What we want to do is play on home dogs of 4.5 or less with 1 or more day of rest with a total of 190 or higher and scored 100 or more as a road dog vs an opponent that scored 110 or more as a home favorite. Home dogs in this system actually win the game outright 14 of 18 times and cover to a 15-3 mark. Houston is just 4-9 off a win of 10 or more points. Look for the Kings to ground the Rockets. On Monday I have the NBA Non Conference Total of the Month with a 100% Totals system that beats the line by 16 points + 98% NBA System side and an NCAAB Conference Tournament Pure Power 20-0 Angle. Jump on and Cash Big tonight. NCABB On a 15-5 run after Cashing Florida St and NBA 17 Games over winning with Milwaukee. On Monday night I will have an additional free play on the weekly sports talk radio show at 8:05 eastern. Listen online at 88.9 wsia.fm. For the free play take the Sacramento Kings. -Rob Vinciletti

Prediction: Utah Jazz +7
While your initial thought might be to load up on the Knicks at home, this is a very tired New York team. Tonight’s game will be their fifth in the last seven days, and that really takes a toll on teams this late in the season. Utah on the other hand will have some fresh legs, as they get ready to play just their third game in the same time span. New York has also failed to win back to back games since they acquired Carmelo Anthony, and just won at Atlanta yesterday. New York is just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite of 5.0-10.5, and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a SU win of more than 10 points. Bet Utah! -Steve Janus

Prediction: Charlotte Bobcats +1.5
The Bobcats are expected to be without Stephen Jackson, but the Clippers are expected to be without Eric Gordon. The loss of Gordon is a serious matter, considering the Clippers are only 4-16 without him. His loss is compounded by the fact that L.A. is playing this one on the road, where it is just 5-25 on the season. Charlotte has lost 4 straight, but all of those defeats came of the road. The Bobcats have been much better on their home floor, where they have won 3 straight and 4 of their last 5. 2 of the victories in this stretch have come against Boston and the L.A. Lakers. The Bobcats’ last defeat was a brutal 93-69 loss at Portland. History tells us it is a great idea to get behind the Bobcats after such a poor offensive performance. In fact, they are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games after scoring less than 75 points in their previous game. The Clippers are a disappointing 16-42 ATS in their last 58 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 0-6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a road favorite. Take the points. -Jimmy Boyd (Handicapperspicks.com)

NBA Playoffs: Boston Celtics vs. Orlando Magic Odds & Prediction: May 28th 2010

The last time that the Orlando Magic and Boston Celtics took the Parquet Court in Beantown, the hosts had to feel as though they were right there on the verge of sweeping away the visitors and reaching the NBA Finals for the second time in three years. However, just five days later, the Eastern Conference Finals are still alive, and the C’s are just one slip away in NBA playoff betting action from having to deal with a deciding seventh game in Orlando.

The Magic inched just a tad bit closer to becoming the first team in NBA history to erase a 3-0 series deficit on Wednesday night when they took out Boston 113-92 in their most impressive game since the close out game against the Atlanta Hawks back on May 10th.

Orlando Magic (69-26, 55-38-2 ATS) vs. Boston Celtics (61-37, 44-52-2 ATS). Game Date/Time: Friday, May 28th, 8:30 ET. Game Location: TD Banknorth Garden, Boston, MA. TV/Radio Broadcast: ESPN, Sirius

After waiting for four games, the Orlando offense finally showed up in Game 5 in the Sunshine State, as the team shot 52.2 percent from the floor and nailed 13 three pointers. That marked the first time the squad had shot better than 42.0 percent from the field or 38.0 percent from long range in this series.

F Rashard Lewis finally made an acceptable appearance as well, as he scored a series-high 14 points on 6/11 shooting. C Dwight Howard chipped in 21 points and ten boards for his second straight solid game.

The key to victories in Games 4 and 5 has arguably been the heart of G Jameer Nelson. Nelson has scored 47 points over the L/2 NBA playoff betting affairs the Magic have engaged in.

Boston fans have to be wondering what is next for their team. The C’s only got three baskets all night long from F Paul Pierce in Game 5.

F Rasheed Wallace scored 21 points, but he has an injured back that could keep him out of Game 6. He wasn’t the only casualty on the night for HC Doc Rivers.

F Glen Davis had a tooth knocked clear out of his mouth and was concussed on the court thanks to an elbow from Howard that, though it was most likely a foul, wasn’t a dirty play. C Kendrick Perkins was ejected after playing just 17 minutes of action, and because his second ‘T’ marked his seventh of these playoffs, he would have been suspended for Game 6 had the NBA not rescinded either of the technical fouls.

NBA Playoff Insider Tip: The underdog and the road team are now 8-2 ATS in the L/10 NBA betting battles between these Eastern Conference opponents.

The bottom line here is that the Magic are starting to play with some swagger, while the Celtics are starting to wonder if they really have what it takes to close this series out. The fans in Beantown might become restless, especially if their C’s ultimately get off to a poor start on Friday night. With the Bruins already blowing a 3-0 series lead to the Flyers in the second round of the NHL playoffs, the TD Garden is going to be on tilt throughout the games entirety.

Orlando will put the chokehold on the Celtics in NBA playoff betting action and shockingly send this series back to Orlando for a seventh and deciding game.

My NBA Playoff Prediction: Orlando by 5
