Expert’s NFL Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars +7
5* graded play on Jacksonville as they host Houston set to start at 1:00 PM ET. My proprietary simulator and statistical database shows a high probability that JAX will lose this game by six or fewer points. Supporting this graded play is a system that has produced a 28-8 ATS mark for 78% winners since 1983. Play against road teams that are excellent rushing team averaging 150 or more rushing yards per game and after allowing 99 or less rushing yards in four straight games. Here is a second system that has produced a 110-63 ATS mark for 64% winners since 1983. Play against favorites of 3.5 to 10 points after a game where they forced three or more turnovers against opponent after two consecutive games with a turnover margin of +1 or better. Further supporting this graded play are game situations that Del Rio is 14-5 ATS (+8.5 Units) after a 2 game road trip as the coach of Jax; 23-11 ATS (+10.9 Units) in weeks 10 through 13. Matt Schaub is out for Houston and this turns the Texans offense into a one dimensional attack with Leinart under center. They are forced to run the ball and establish the run and I like how JAX matches up in stopping the Houston rushing attack. JAX may have a poor record, but Del Rio is a master motivator and always has his team playing hard and completely focused. This is an opportunity for them to have an impact on the playoffs by sending Houston home with a loss. Take the Jaguars. -John Ryan
Expert’s NFL Pick: Minnesota Vikings +9.5
On Sunday the free NFL System play is on the Vikings. Game 227 at 1:00 eastern. What we want to do in this game is basically play against Atlanta. Teams in their 3rd straight home game with no rest in between are 2-15 ats as a home favorite of -7.5 or more if the total is 45 or less. The Vikings are a solid 9-0 ats off back to back straight up and ats vs a winning team and has looked rejuvenated with Christian Ponder at Quarter back. Atlanta hasn’t been the dominant home team this year they were last season and this appears to be too many points and may get up to 10 by game time. With the system and the angle we will back the Vikings here today. On Sunday the lead play is a Huge NFL Divisional Game of the Year, backed by a pair of Cutting Edge systems that date to 1980. NFL Top plays have been hot cashing Big on Baltimore on Thursday and Both big Monday nighters. On Saturday top play on Wisconsin was over at the half. I also have a solid 5* Going early and a another Big NHL Total tonight. NHL 9-3 this year. Jump on and end the week big on Sunday. For the free play take Minnesota. -Rob Vinciletti

Expert’s NFL Pick: Patriots vs. Eagles over 50
The New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles should have no problem combining to score more than 50 points Sunday. Odds makers have over-adjusted, not setting this total high enough due to a pair of low-scoring games from both teams last week. New England beat Kansas City 34-3, and Philly beat New York 17-10. Because of those results, we are seeing excellent value with this OVER Sunday. The Patriots rank 2nd in the league in total offense at 426.7 yards/game, while the Eagles rank 3rd in total offense at 415.6 yards/game. Philly is likely to be without Michael Vick once again, but they still managed 391 total yards against the Giants last week with Vince Young as their starting quarterback. Young completed 23 of 36 passes for 258 yards with two touchdowns. Though he threw three interceptions, he’s not that much of a downgrade. Young should be very successful Sunday against a New England defense that ranks last in the league in total defense at 404.2 yards/game. There’s no question the Patriots are going to score plenty of points behind Tom Brady and company. New England is 8-0 OVER (+8.0 Units) after allowing 3 points or less in the first half last game over the last 2 seasons. The OVER is 21-8 in Patriots last 29 games overall. The OVER is 8-1 in Eagles last 9 games as a home underdog. The OVER is 38-18-1 in Eagles last 57 vs. a team with a winning record. Take the OVER 50 points here. -Black Widow (Handicapperspicks.com)

Free Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville is 10-3 ATS since 1993 as an underdog of 3 1/2 to 9 1/2 points in preseason action. Jacksonville is 21-9 ATS on the road in the preseason. Jacksonville is 10-1 ATS since 1993 on the road when the total is between 35 1/2 and 38 points. Jacksonville is 23-10 ATS since 1993 on the road when the total is between 35 1/2 and 42 points. New England is 2-9 SU and 2-8 ATS against conference opponents since 1993 in preseason. We’ll recommend a small play on Jacksonville tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky Atkinson
Free Pick: Baltimore Ravens +3
It’s not often that we go against the Eagles down at the Linc, but seemingly, this is a decent opportunity. The Eagles plan to use the starting lineup for the first quarter and then the rotation will begin on both sides of the ball. Ravens coach Jon Harbaugh has indicated he will insert starters as the game develops, but will for the most part use the second and third team throughout. Former Virginia Tech QB Tyrod Taylor will replace Joe Flacco after the first quarter, and could play most of the game. It would seem the home field, QB rotation and the Eagles defense would allow us to support Philly. However, we get a little worried in the point spread category where the Philly coach Andy Reid is 17-31 ATS in exhibition games, while Ravens head master Jon Harbaugh is 8-4 ATS. Plus the Eagles are 1-5 ATS as chalk and 0-7 ATS in game #1 of the preseason. With Philly exhibiting so many changes in assistant coaching positions and personnel, I’ll lean to the Ravens plus points in what should be a low scoring game. -Brad Diamond (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars -4
The Jacksonville Jaguars host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday and this falls into a simple system: bet against West Coast teams on the road in the East Coast playing 1:00 PM ET games. For those who aren’t too familiar with the system, the basic concept is that the Raiders, who are the West Coast team, will be playing at what is essentially 10:00 AM their time. The Raiders last two road games (in Tennessee and in Pittsburgh), they were outscored by a combined score of 70-16. Also, the Raiders are on back-to-back road games, which should further bite into their freshness. Jaguars star Maurice Jones-Drew has topped 100 yards rushing in five straight games, including a career-high 186 yards in last week’s 17-6 win at Tennessee. Jacksonville has won three of four all-time meetings between the teams, including the most recent one, a 49-11 rout at home in 2007. Jacksonville (7-5) took a one-game lead over Indianapolis in the division race when the Jaguars beat Tennessee and the Colts lost to Dallas last week – the Jaguars haven’t been in first place this late in the season since 1999, when they won their last division title. One key trend favors them as well. Jacksonville is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games. The Jaguars are an underrated squad. Bet them to cover on Sunday. -Ray Monohan
Pick: Cleveland Browns +1
Free Play from Doc’s Sports. #5 Take Cleveland Browns over Buffalo Bills (Sunday 1 pm CBS) The Buffalo Bills have been tough luck losers all season long but to me it became evident last week that this season has finally caught up with them. A team can only take so much heartbreak and after they gave the Steelers the game in overtime with a dropped touchdown pass; they got blown out at Minnesota last week by a score of 38-14. I expect that they now have thrown in the towel on the 2010 season and we will go against them on Sunday backing the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have won four of their last six games and that includes victories at Miami and at New Orleans. If they can win at those places, they can certainly beat the Bills in upstate New York. Cleveland is 15-2 ATS in their last 17 games against teams with a losing home record. Do not miss Doc’s Sports strong NFL card featuring three plays on Sunday and a top play winner on Monday Night Football! -Doc’s Sports
Pick: Buccaneers vs. Redskins Over 41
The Bucs have played a string of very good defensive teams as of late. Atlanta twice, Baltimore and San Francisco. Against the weaker defenses they have faced lately Tampa Bay produced 31 against Carolina and 38 against Arizona. Overall the Bucs have reached 21 points or more in 5 of their last 6 games. They should have little problem moving the ball on a Washington team who has permitted 30 points or more five times including 59 to the Eagles. Washington has not been a very efficient offense this season but they haven’t faced too many stop units as weak as Tampa Bay. The Bucs average allowing 15.2 points and 192.2 yards in the first half and we fully expect the Skins to be aggressive offensively on Sunday. The Skins have been held in check against the top stop units in the NFL but they produced 27 against Houston, 24 against Indianapolis and 25 against Detroit. They should be good for at least 21 here and likely 24 which would put this game firmly over the total. While neither of these offenses are considered strong, the defensive weaknesses will enable both teams to move the football. -Bryan Leonard
Pick: Carolina Panthers +8
It has been a dreadful year for the Carolina Panthers (1-11) who have ‘covered’ only three times while getting points in 10 of their 12 games. Atlanta is coming off a huge come-from-behind fourth quarter win over Tampa Bay last week and my not be in the right frame of mind while facing the lowly Panthers. The Falcons have been out-gained in their last two wins and are just 3-13 against the points after back-to-back wins against a foe off a loss. Hard to believe that the Panthers (#1-5) at home are the side. Take CAROLINA! -Chip Chirimbes (Handicapperspicks.com)
