Expert’s NFL Pick: Miami Dolphins -1.5
Buffalo shocked everyone by opening the season at 4-1, but they were playing above their ability level and have dropped to 5-4 after losing at Dallas, 44-7, last Sunday. The Bills have struggled on the road this season and Sunday’s loss moved them to 1-3 in true road games. Miami has finally entered the win column while winning back-to-back games by 28 and 11 points. Miami tries for their third straight victory this weekend and get home field advantage against a Division rival who’s defense has allowed 27 points or more in 5 of their 9 games. Buffalo was only 4-12 last season, and hasn’t won more than 7 games since 2004, so there’s no surprise that they can’t keep playing at this inflated level. -Carlo Campanella

Expert’s NFL Pick: Cardinals vs. 49ers Under 41
I don’t see these two teams going over the total set of 41.5. The 49ers come in allowing just over 15 points per game, but should be able to keep Arizona under that mark with the Cardinals starting John Skelton at quarterback. On the other side of the ball, I expect the 49ers to also struggle to move the ball. Arizona’s defense has really picked it up defensively in their last two games, holding St Louis to 13 points and Philadelphia to 17 points. The fact that this is a division game, only adds to the under being the play. These two teams are well aware of what the other team likes to do, and I expect both teams to play extremely hard. The 49ers want to make sure they don’t give anyone in the NFC West hopes of coming back, while the Cardinals will be playing with a lot of confidence riding a two game winning streak. The UNDER is 9-2 in Cardinals last 11 vs. NFC West and 4-1 in Cardinals last 5 road games. BET THE UNDER 41! -Steve Janus

Jimmy Boyd’s Sunday NFL Week 11 *SUPER SYSTEM SMOKER* Jimmy’s “Super System Smoker” plays have been deadly. With last Sunday’s 4-0 NFL SWEEP, which included an easy Super System Smoker winner on the Seahawks +7 (outright over Baltimore), these plays improved to a PERFECT 3-0 the last 3 Sunday’s! In Week 8, his SSS won on the Rams +14 (outright over New Orleans). In Week 9, his SSS cashed on the Dolphins +4.5 (outright over KC). Play by the numbers with Jimmy and bury another unsuspecting favorite behind a GAME-BREAKING 39-13 ATS SUPER SYSTEM that’s 3-1 ATS this season!

Expert’s NFL Pick: Carolina Panthers +7
Panthers (+) over Lions- Was he just a ‘Flash-in-the-pan?’ I am referring to Cam Newton of course who like Willie McCovey in 1959 going 4-4 with two triples and two doubles in his debut against the Philadelphia Phillies. Anyway, Detroit off their six turnover performance and total beat down by the Bears need to turn things around quick and the pressure is starting to build. Silly penalties and simple break downs are still holding Lions back. Panthers off worst game of the year with come to play Sunday. Take PANTHERS! -Chip Chirimbes (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Atlanta Falcons -7
The NFL season has hit the halfway point and the Colts (0-8) are still winless with QB Manning on the sideline. They’ll host a 4-3 Falcons squad that won’t let down against the Colts as they need a victory to stay in the Playoff race behind New Orleans and Tampa Bay in the NFC South division. After a disappointing 2-3 SU start to the season, Atlanta is finally playing better football, winning back-to-back games for the first time this season over Carolina and Detroit before their “Bye” week last Sunday. Atlanta QB Ryan is 7-4 ATS as a road Favorite and should have no trouble finding open receivers against this Colt’s defense that’s allowing 31.5 points per game and have allowed at least 23 points in every game this season! -Carlo Campanella

Pick: Miami Dolphins +4.5
Dolphins (+) over Chiefs- No, I have not lost my senses as you might remember I posted Miami against the New York Giants last week and week collected the cash. Having spent the last week in Miami these fans are on a ‘Suck for Luck’ campaign not realizing that this organization (?) will NEVER have Luck in a Dolphins uniform. They really have no idea what it takes to build a winner and Luck knows this and will hold Miami for ransom and they probably won’t draft him if they had the chance anyway. The community may have quit on the Dolphins but they haven’t quit on each other. This line is way too low as the Chiefs have won four straight and will get caught look ahead to next weeks division game against Denver and the New England. In a shocker…MIAMI! -Chip Chirimbes

Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers -3.5
Odds have the Steelers as a 3-point favorite at home, where they are 4-1 SU and 2-2-1 ATS in their last five meetings with the Ravens, with three overs and a push when it comes to the total. The Ravens laid a 35-7 beating on the Steelers in Week 1, and you could tell that the Ravens put everything they had into that game, but they’re in the middle of a slump. The Steelers have taken that loss to the Ravens and channeled it to the point that some are calling them the team to beat in the AFC. This game comes down to quarterbacking, and you have to take Roethlisberger over Flacco every day of the week, even after what happened in Week 1. It also helps that the Steelers are coming off a win over another AFC power, so they’ll be focused. Take Pittsburgh to cover. -Ray Monohan (Handicapperspicks.com)

Week 8 NFL Pick: Detroit Lions -2.5
The Denver Broncos were extremely lucky to beat the Miami Dolphins last week. Tim Tebow made a couple of nice plays at the end of the game, but overall his performance wasn’t good at all. Detroit is by far the better team here and is showing some great value after losing back-to-back games to the San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons, two of the top teams in the NFC. The big difference in this game is the Lions front four on defense. I believe they will be able to put a ton of pressure on Tebow and are fast enough to keep him from breaking loose for big runs. Denver will also be without running back Willis McGahee, who was really playing well before going down with an injury. Denver is 0-7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Detroit is 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall, 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 road games, and 4-0-2 ATS in their last 6 games as a favorite of 0.5-3.0. BET THE LIONS! -Steve Janus

Week 8 NFL Pick: Browns vs. 49ers Under 38.5
The San Francisco 49ers host the Cleveland Browns Sunday in a match-up between two of the worst offenses in the NFL. Both teams are solid defensively, and I certainly expect a low-scoring defensive battle in this one Sunday. Cleveland ranks 23rd in the NFL in total offense (308.3 yards/game), and they are scoring just 16.2 points/game. The Browns are 28th in rushing (91.2 yards/game) as well. A big reason for their struggles on the ground is because they have been playing without Peyton Hillis. Hillis, tight end Benjamin Watson and wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi are all doubtful to play Sunday due to various injuries. These are arguably their three biggest weapons on offense, so moving the football will not come easy for them Sunday. The Browns do feature one of the most underrated stop units in the league. Cleveland ranks 4th in the NFL in total defense (291.0 yards/game), including 1st against the pass (171.5 yards/game). San Francisco ranks 27th in the league in total offense (302.5 yards/game) and 11th in total defense (335.7 yards/game). They have the 31st-ranked passing offense (171.0 yards/game) and the 2nd-ranked run defense (74.7 yards/game). The 49ers are allowing 16.2 points/game. The UNDER is 5-1 in Browns last 6 games as an underdog, and 4-0 in Browns last 4 games as a road dog. I don’t expect either team to top 20 points in this one. Bet the UNDER in this game Sunday. -Jack Jones (Handicapperspicks.com)

Washington Redskins vs. Detroit Lions
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 31st, 1:00 ET
Game Location: Ford Field, Detroit, MI
TV/Radio Broadcast: FOX, Sirius
NFL Odds: Washington Redskins (+3) -120 vs. Detroit Lions (-3) +100: Over/Under 45

We came away hardly impressed with the Redskins lackluster 17-14 win at Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears last week. Donovan McNabb threw for just 200 yards and was picked off twice, and it took a four interception outing from DeAngelo Hall and a terrible non-call for the Skins just to escape with the three-point win. Detroit enters this spot well rested coming off their bye, and now gets Matthew Stafford back into the mix after going down in Week 1 with a shoulder sprain. The Skins lost in this venue last season, and already went into a dome stadium on the road and got plastered by the St. Louis Rams this season. With the Lions 3-0-1 ATS the L/4 times they were installed home chalk up to three points, be sure to add Detroit to your list of NFL Week 8 predictions. Slam the Lions!

Miami Dolphins vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 31st, 1:00 ET
Game Location: Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati, OH
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Sirius
NFL Odds: Miami Dolphins (+1.5) -110 vs. Cincinnati Bengals (-1.5) -110: Over/Under 44

I will continue to pick on the Bengals every week until this overhyped team shows me they’re ready to hang with big boys and play to their potential. With just two wins under their belt on the year, the Bengals enter this Week 8 showdown with a very pissed off Dolphins outfit that was robbed of a potential victory at home against the Steelers last week. To make matters worse for the Bengals in this spot is the fact that Miami has won all three of its road games this season, while dropping all three at home to solid opposition. Now two games back in the AFC East and losers of both tiebreakers, this is a game the fins must have to keep pace with both the Jets and Patriots. While the Bengals aren’t entirely out of it, I just don’t see them ever catching the Ravens. Cincy might look the part of a team in an ideal bounce back scenario, but don’t let them fool you, be sure to have the dolphins as part of your Week 8 NFL predictions. Slam the Dolphins!

Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 31st, 1:00 ET
Game Location: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Sirius
NFL Odds: Buffalo Bills (+7.5) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-7.5): Over/Under 46

So, JQP opened the paper and saw that Buffalo racked up over 500 yards against the Baltimore Ravens vaunted defense last week. After reading it, they threw their money down on the Bills at (+9) and though they got a steal. Not so fast my friend! The Bills flat out stink and will by no means be up for another out of division road contest after leaving it all out on the field and still coming up short in overtime. Almost the same scenario presented itself earlier this season when the Bills returned home off a competitive game at New England to face the Jets. NY pasted them 38-14 that day, and the game wasn’t even as close as the final score. As long as oddsmakers continue to undervalue the Chiefs, I will be there to pounce. Kansas City must be a part of your Week 8 NFL predictions as they should be no less than double-digit favorites in this spot! Slam the Chiefs!

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Arizona Cardinals
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 31st, 4:15 ET
Game Location: Phoenix Stadium, Phoenix, AZ
TV/Radio Broadcast: FOX, Sirius
NFL Odds: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3) +100 vs. Arizona Cardinals (-3) -120: Over/Under 39

Both squads enter this Week 8 NFL predictions battle in second place of their respective divisions. That said; which one of these do you truly believe has the gusto to actually win the division or qualify for the Wild Card? Neither, yeah me too. But seriously, am I to believe this Bucs squad can’t go into the desert and steal a win much like they did at Cincinnati? Zona prides itself on forcing turnovers and limiting its mistakes. With the Bucs only coughing it up five times offensively, it more than likely means the Cardinals will have to earn this one themselves. Not gonna happen, so back the Bucs as they shockingly move to 5-2 on the year. Slam the Buccaneers!
