Pick: Brewers vs. Cardinals Under 7.5
The Under is worth a shot here when you consider these teams are 15-4-3 to the Under in their last 22 meetings in St. Louis. The Under is 7-2-3 in the Brewers’ last 12 road games, 5-1 in Gallardo’s last 6 starts overall and 5-1 in his last 6 starts with the total set at 7.0-8.5. The Under is also 6-1 in Carpenter’s last 7 home starts and 6-1 in his last 7 home starts with the total set at 7.0-8.5. I’ll advise a small play on the Under in this one. -Jeff Alexander

Pick: Rangers vs. Tigers Over 8.5
Expect a high-scoring game in Detroit today. Tigers’ scheduled starter Rick Porcello has struggled at home all season, going 5-6 with an ERA of 5.66. Plus, he has a 6.30 ERA in 2 career starts versus the Rangers. The Tigers have combined with their opponent to finish over the total in each of Porcello’s last 7 starts versus a team with a winning record. We have seen an average of 13.0 runs per game scored in this situation. Texas scheduled starter Matt Harrison hasn’t been able to figure out Detroit. He’s 0-4 with an ERA of 7.42 in 5 career starts versus the Tigers. The Over is 8-1-3 in the Rangers’ last 12 games with the total set at 9.0-10.5 and 5-2-1 in Harrison’s last 8 road starts with the total set at 9.0-10.5. We’ll take the over. -Jimmy Boyd (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Milwaukee Brewers +111
The Brewers are showing some solid value as a road underdog on Monday. St Louis swept the Brewers at Milwaukee last week. That should have the Brewers coming into this one looking for some big time revenge. Milwaukee is 15-9 at St Louis over the last three seasons. Milwaukee will send out Randy Wolf against Jake Westbrook. While Westbrook got the best of Wolf in their recent matchup last Wednesday, there is some nice trends in favor of Wolf in this one. Wolf is 12-2 against the money line after giving up 2 or more home runs last outing over the last 2 seasons. Milwaukee is 5-1 in Wolfs last 6 starts vs. National League Central and 8-3 in Wolfs last 11 starts following a team loss in his previous start. St Louis is just 2-6 in their last 8 home games vs. a left-handed starter and 1-4 in Westbrooks last 5 starts as a home favorite of -110 to -150. BET THE CARDINALS! -Steve Janus

Pick: Milwaukee Brewers +109
It’s payback time for the NL Central leaders, who were swept at home by St. Louis last week. The Brewers have won 39 of their last 54 overall and 13 of their last 16 on the road. They are also an impressive 21-10 in their last 31 meetings in St. Louis. Milwaukee scheduled starter Randy Wolf is quietly having a fantastic season. The Brewers have won 6 of his last 7 starts, and he’ll be very focused tonight with that one loss in this stretch coming last week against the Cards. St. Louis sends Jake Westbrook to the mound this afternoon. Unfortunately for the Cards, he’s done his best work on the road. He’s just 3-4 with a 5.96 home ERA this season. Take Milwaukee showing value in the underdog role. (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Los Angeles Angels -129
The Los Angeles Angels are badly in need of a win tonight after back-to-back losses to fall 3.5 games behind the Texas Rangers in the AL West. We’ll back them at this generous price tonight. Jerome Williams was excellent in his season debut for the Angels on 8/21, allowing one earned run and six base runners in seven innings of a 7-1 victory over the Baltimore Orioles. Anthony Vasquez wasn’t as fortunate in his debut for the Mariners on 8/23, yielding five earned runs and 11 base runners in 5 1/3 innings of a 12-7 win. There’s no question we are backing the better starter and the better team tonight. The Angels are 37-16 in their last 53 games as a favorite. The Mariners are 16-40 in their last 56 games as an underdog. Seattle is 1-5 in their last 6 home games. The Angels are 47-21 in the last 68 meetings with Seattle. Take the Angels on the Money Line. -Black Widow

Pick: Cardinals vs. Brewers Over 8.5
On Tuesday the Free MLB Totals system Play is on the Over in the St. Louis at Milwaukee game. Rotation numbers 959/960 at 8:10 eastern. This game fits a totals system that has cashed 15 of 20 times. What we want to do is play the over for home favorites off a home favored win and scored 4 or less runs, vs an opponent also off a home favored win at -140 or higher where they scored 5 or more runs. In the series 4 of the 5 here have flown over the total. The Cardinals have played over in 8 of 10 off a day off this season and average 5 runs per game on the road. The Brewers average 5 runs per game here at home. The pitching also suggests an over. Jackson for the Cardinals has a 5.31 road era and Marcum has a 4.29 home era and an even worse 5.68 era vs the Cardinals. With St. Louis having gone over in 5 of their last 6 we will back the Over for the Free Play. See system below. On Tuesday 2 Top plays are going. The Double Perfect totals system play and a Big Diamond cutter with 2 rare systems and a big pitching edge. Jump on and cash them both. For the Free play take the Over in the Cardinals at Brewers game. -Rob Vinciletti (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 +117
Milwaukee is worth a shot on the run line tonight with Wolf on the bump. That’s because the Brewers have won each of his last 5 starts by 2 runs or more. Plus, the Cubs are a lousy 2-16 on the road this season when valued as an underdog of +150 or more. They’re losing these contests by an average of 2.5 runs per game. Take the Brew Crew on the run line. -Jeff Alexander

Pick: Chicago White Sox -126
The Sox have won 13 of their last 16 against the Mariners and should continue their dominance in the series with former Cy Young winner Jake Peavy on the mound. Peavy is 4-1 (5-1 on the money line) with an ERA of 1.99 in 6 career starts against Seattle. In addition, the White Sox are 5-1 in Peavy’s last 6 road starts. We’ll bet Chicago. -Dave Price

Pick: Detroit Tigers -125
The Tigers have won 6 of their last 7 overall and 11 of their last 13 in the road chalk. I have no problem backing them this evening against a struggling Minnesota club that has dropped 20 of its last 26 games. The Tigers have won 13 of the last 16 meetings in this series, including 6 of the last 7 in Minnesota. Detroit also has the edge on the mound with Porcello. The Tigers are 7-2 in his last 9 starts and 4-1 in his last 5 road starts. They’re also 13-3 in his last 16 starts vs. a team with a losing record and 4-0 in his last 4 road starts vs. a team with a losing record. The Tigers are 4-1 in Porcello’s last 5 starts vs. the Twins. Take Detroit. -Jimmy Boyd (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Chicago Cubs +135
The Braves send Mike Minor to the hill tonight where he 0-1 with a 4.98 ERA on the road this season. Atlanta is hitting only .235 on the road this year. 78% of the public is currently on the Braves in this game and we all know fading the public will get you money more times than not. Braves are 2-6 in their last 8 road games with the total set at 11.0 or higher. Cubs are 10-4 in their last 14 games as an underdog. Cubs are 7-3 in their last 10 vs. a team with a winning record. Cubs are 9-4 in their last 13 home games. Cubs are 5-1 in Colemans last 6 starts as an underdog of +110 to +150. Cubs are 4-1 in Colemans last 5 starts vs. a team with a winning record. We’ll recommend a small play on Chicago Cubs tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky Atkinson

Pick: Brewers vs. Pirates Over 8.5
I’ll side with the OVER in this game Tuesday between the Milwaukee Brewers and Pittsburgh Pirates in NL Central action. These teams just played a double-header Monday, meaning that both bullpens are likely taxed. Two below-average starters are going at it tonight in Marco Estrada and Ross Ohlendorf, and neither is likely to go deep in this one. Estrada is 3-8 with a 4.28 ERA on the season, including 0-1 with a 6.35 ERA in two road starts. Ohlendorf is 0-0 with a 7.27 ERA adn 1.845 WHIP through two starts this year. Both teams are hot at the plate right now as well. The Brewers are putting up 6.6 runs/game over their last five contests, while the Pirates are scoring 5.4 runs/game over their last five. The OVER is 4-0 in Brewers last 4 games overall. The OVER is 6-1 in Pirates last 7 games overall. The OVER is 10-1 in Brewers last 11 games as a road favorite of -110 to -150. The OVER is 6-0 in Pirates last 6 games as a home underdog. Bet the OVER in this game Tuesday. -Jack Jones

Pick: Cincinnati Reds -139
Play on Cincinnati at 7:10 ET. Florida has fallen off the map, having lost 15 of 17, and things get no less difficult this evening at home vs. the Reds and Johnny Cueto. Cueto is MLB’s ERA leader at 1.89 in 19 starts. He’s allowed just one run his L15 IP, picking up two wins. The Marlins are 5-19 as a home dog this season. Starter Ricky Nolasco has a 4-10 TSR at home and a 7.00 ERA his last three starts overall. 10* on Cincinnati (w/ Cueto). -Tom Freese (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: New York Yankees -150
On Monday the free MLB System Play is on the New York Yankees. Game 915 at 8:10 eastern. The Yankees apply to a nice system I use for road favorites off a home favored win, vs an opponent off a road loss with a total that was 8 or less. These road favorites cash over 80% of the time. The Yankees have the benefit of an extra day of rest as their home game against Tampa was rained out. New Yors is averaging 5 runs per game at night and 5 runs per game over the past week. The Royals have struggled at the plate of late and are averaging just 2.9 runs the past week. They have Paulino making the start. However they have lost 7 his last 8 starts. The Yankees counter with A.J. Burnett who is on the midst of another mediocre season. However,, if there is one thing he does well, its pitching vs the Royals. In his last 3 starts against them he has compiled 20 innings and has allowed just 2 runs. Look for Burnett to hold the Royals at bay, while the Yankees put up a few runs on a struggling Kansas City team. Take the Yankees tonight. For those looking for that special game I have the 7* MLB Game of the Year going tonight. This game is from a 100% system and 3 perfect Angles. Our team has a solid pitching edge as well. I also have a 21-1- Power Angle play in the NFL Game and a totals system in MLB that averages 13.4 runs per game. Don’t miss any of these big plays. Start the week with a bang. For the free play take the New York Yankees. -Rob Vinciletti

Pick: Florida Marlins +137
Florida comes in with a 56-64 overall record this year while Colorado is 56-66 overall on the season. Florida has been solid on the road with a 32-25 record this season. Colorado has lost 4 of their last 5 games overall. Florida bullpen has a 3.24 ERA overall this year. Clay Hensley is 1-1 with a 2.25 ERA on the road this season. Hensley is 4-1 with a 3.07 ERA overall vs Colorado since 1997. Millwood is 7-9 with a 5.53 ERA overall vs Florida since 1997. We’ll recommend a small play on Florida tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky Atkinson

Pick: Milwaukee Brewers -155
Play on Milwaukee at 8:10 ET. It’s very difficult not to just take the Brewers every game they play at home. They are 44-15 this season at Miller Park, which is the best home record in MLB. That includes a 15-2 record last 17 home games. They are also 16-0 here if they allowed 3 runs or less in back to back games. They are 10-0 at home after scoring 2 runs or less this season. As a favorite of -150 or more, they are 25-3. Brewers lefty Randy Wolf has won three straight starts and faces a Dodgers lineup that is averaging just 3.7 runs per game vs. southpaws. 10* on Milwaukee (w/ Wolf). -Tom Freese (Handicapperspicks.com)
