Prediction: Orlando Magic Pk
The Magic seem to be on a mission to finish the season in a very positive way. They have won five straight and have a very favorable schedule to end the year. They will likely to be favored in every game with the lone underdog roles coming either at home against Chicago or at Philadelphia. The Magic have won 9 of the last 10 meetings in this series including a 111-99 victory just five days ago on this court. Much was expected out of the Knicks after the Anthony trade. But not only have the Knicks regressed they have been simply uncompetitive. New York has lost 9 of the last 10 games and the defeats have come by margins. Only twice in those ten games were the Knicks an underdog, catching 1 1/2 hosting Boston and getting 5 points at Dallas. Counting the pick ‘em game they hosted against Orlando they are 0-3 straight up losing to the spread by a combined 33 1/2 points when stepping up in class. New York continues to be an overrated squad and we take advantage again tonight. -Bryan Leonard
Prediction: Philadelphia 76ers +10
We have rode the balls the 2nd half of the season many times and they have not let us down many times but lately even though they are winning they have not been playing their best. This series the Underdog is 13-6 ATS in the last 19 meetings. Even better PHI matches up with Rose with three different young athletic guards to slow him down. PHI might even win this one outright as PHI is desperate trying to get back to the 5th spot in the Eastern conference. AI plays great and get us this cover -Craig Trapp
Prediction: Orlando Magic Pk
Orlando has won 5 in a row while New York has lost 6 in a row heading into tonight’s contest. Orlando is 9-1 SU overall vs New York the past 3 years. Knicks are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Knicks are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games as a home underdog of 0.5-4.5. Knicks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games. Knicks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest. Knicks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Knicks are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. Knicks are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a SU loss. Knicks are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss. Knicks are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games overall. Knicks are 0-8 ATS in their last 8 vs. Eastern Conference. We’ll recommend a small play on Orlando tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky Atkinson (Handicapperspicks.com)

Prediction: Golden State Warriors +1.5
This will be the third meeting between these two clubs this season with both games needing overtime to decide the victor. In each case, the Warriors were able to assert their will and take both meetings straight up and against the number. Golden State has dominated this series from a spread prospective going 5-1 ATS the last six meetings including five in a row. The Warriors average 100.4 points per game on the highway this season versus teams that allow just 99.4 points per game. Sacramento averages 97.4 points per game at home versus teams that would normally allow teams to score 99.5 points per game.
On the defensive end of the floor, the Kings allow 100.8 points per game to teams that should only score 99.9 points per contest. It is difficult to consider the Kings with their star Tyreke Evans sidelined with Plantar Fasciitis and key contributors DeMarcus Cousins leg problems and Beno Udrih suffering from an illness that will possibly keep them sidelined as well. The Kings are 2-12 ATS versus up-tempo teams averaging 83 or more shots per game this season. Sacramento qualifies in several league-wide systems that are active for this contest. Play AGAINST NBA teams who went Over in their last game and are now at home in this price range because they are 9-20 ATS their last 29 games. Play AGAINST NBA teams that were underdogs in their last two games and now installed as a division home favorite, these teams are 33-60-1 ATS. Play AGAINST NBA teams that lost on the road as underdogs in their last two games and are now a division home favorite in this price range, these teams are 7-19-1 ATS. Golden State after going Under as a favorite in their last game and are now in this price range are 14-5 ATS their last 19 contests.
The Warriors are 11-2 ATS as a road underdog of 3 points or less over the last 3 seasons. The Warriors qualify in a powerful league-wide system that point to an easy victory for them in tonight’s game. Play AGAINST NBA home teams whom average 98 to 102 points per game facing a team that allows 102 or more points per game after two straight games where both squads scored at least one-hundred points. Playing against these home teams has produced a record of 51-19 ATS the last five seasons, 41-15 ATS the last 3 seasons and a blistering 13-3 ATS this season in the last 16 qualifying games. Our TPR Index projects a Warriors win by 4.1 points over the Kings on Monday night. The Math Model also favors the visitor with a positive point differential of 5.72 over the current line of Golden State +1.
The basic power play ratings have the wrong team favored as those numbers show Golden State as a 2.0-point favorite over Sacramento. With solid technical, fundamental and power ratings advantages for the visitor we will back the Golden State Warriors here as a 3-Star Selection. -Robbie Gainous
Prediction: Washington Wizards +8
The Warriors plays the Thunder to a 7-point game on the road earlier this season. They have what it takes to give OKC another game tonight. Having played just 1 game in the last5 days, the Wizards will be very fresh. The Thunder, meanwhile, will be playing their 6th game in 9 days, and I expect them to feel the effects of that here. Laying this many points on the road with OKC has not been a smart move. The Thunder, in fact, are just 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games as a road favorite of 5.0-10.5 points. The Thunder are 4-11-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings in this series and 1-6 ATS in the last 7 meetings at Washington. Take the points as the much fresher Wizards keep this one closer than the odds makers think. -Jeff Alexander (Handicapperspicks.com)

Prediction: Portland Trailblazers +1.5
Dwight Howard will serve his 1-game suspension tonight when the Orlando Magic host the Portland Trail Blazers. NBA rules mandate an automatic one-game suspension when a player accumulates 16 technical fouls in a season. The Blazers are very strong inside with LaMarcus Aldridge, Marcus Camby and Gerald Wallace. Portland will dominate the paint tonight and will have a huge rebounding edge which will lead to a nice road victory for them. Orlando lost at Portland 97-83 on Dec. 9 despite 39 points and 15 rebounds from Howard. The rest of the Magic scored 44 points and shot 17 of 51 (33.3 percent). The Blazers are finally getting healthy with Brandon Roy and Camby recently returning to the line-up. They put together one of their most complete performances of the season with a 93-69 home victory over the Charlotte Bobcats last time out. This will only be Portland’s 2nd game in 5 days so they will be fresh and ready to go. The Trail Blazers are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Magic are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. Bet the Blazers Monday. -Jack Jones
Prediction: Sacramento Kings +4.5
On Monday the NBA Free system play is on the Sacramento Kings. Game 514 at 10:00 eastern. The Kings fit a solid home dog system here tonight. What we want to do is play on home dogs of 4.5 or less with 1 or more day of rest with a total of 190 or higher and scored 100 or more as a road dog vs an opponent that scored 110 or more as a home favorite. Home dogs in this system actually win the game outright 14 of 18 times and cover to a 15-3 mark. Houston is just 4-9 off a win of 10 or more points. Look for the Kings to ground the Rockets. On Monday I have the NBA Non Conference Total of the Month with a 100% Totals system that beats the line by 16 points + 98% NBA System side and an NCAAB Conference Tournament Pure Power 20-0 Angle. Jump on and Cash Big tonight. NCABB On a 15-5 run after Cashing Florida St and NBA 17 Games over winning with Milwaukee. On Monday night I will have an additional free play on the weekly sports talk radio show at 8:05 eastern. Listen online at 88.9 wsia.fm. For the free play take the Sacramento Kings. -Rob Vinciletti
Prediction: Utah Jazz +7
While your initial thought might be to load up on the Knicks at home, this is a very tired New York team. Tonight’s game will be their fifth in the last seven days, and that really takes a toll on teams this late in the season. Utah on the other hand will have some fresh legs, as they get ready to play just their third game in the same time span. New York has also failed to win back to back games since they acquired Carmelo Anthony, and just won at Atlanta yesterday. New York is just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite of 5.0-10.5, and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a SU win of more than 10 points. Bet Utah! -Steve Janus
Prediction: Charlotte Bobcats +1.5
The Bobcats are expected to be without Stephen Jackson, but the Clippers are expected to be without Eric Gordon. The loss of Gordon is a serious matter, considering the Clippers are only 4-16 without him. His loss is compounded by the fact that L.A. is playing this one on the road, where it is just 5-25 on the season. Charlotte has lost 4 straight, but all of those defeats came of the road. The Bobcats have been much better on their home floor, where they have won 3 straight and 4 of their last 5. 2 of the victories in this stretch have come against Boston and the L.A. Lakers. The Bobcats’ last defeat was a brutal 93-69 loss at Portland. History tells us it is a great idea to get behind the Bobcats after such a poor offensive performance. In fact, they are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games after scoring less than 75 points in their previous game. The Clippers are a disappointing 16-42 ATS in their last 58 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 0-6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a road favorite. Take the points. -Jimmy Boyd (Handicapperspicks.com)

Prediction: New Orleans Hornets -4.5
On Sunday the free NBA System Play is on the New Orleans Hornets. Game 811 at 6:35 eastern. The Hornets fit 2 nice systems here tonight. What we want to do is play against home dogs like Cleveland with 1 day of rest if they scored 110 or more as a road dog in their last game and the opponent also was a road dog in their last game. These home dogs are 4-20 ats since 1995. This system is illustrated below. A second system plays on certain rested road favorites off a road dog win vs an opponent off a win and cover. The Cavs are off a big come from behind win in New York, while the Hornets won in Memphis. The Cavs are 2-30 straight up and 10-20-2 ats with revenge. This will be a tough game for the Cavaliers. Look for the Hornets to get the win and cover tonight. On Sunday I have a 100% NBA System Game of the Week, a Double Perfect ACC Game of the Month + a 17-1 Early Power Angle Side. Saturday top play cashes with Auburn. Jump on Sunday. For the Free Play take The New -Rob Vinciletti
Prediction: Philadelphia 76ers -7
The 76ers have been money against the spread at home this season, going 19-11 and we see no reason why they wont win easily at home against a Warriors team that is just 8-21 on the road this season. The 76ers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. Golden State is just 3-12 ATS after successfully covering the spread in 2 or more consecutive games this season, and are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. loss. Play against underdogs of 3.5 to 9.5 points – poor foul drawing team – attempting <=24 free throws/game, good shooting team – shooting >=46% on the season. It’s 161-102 over the last 5 seasons. -Info Plays
Prediction: Boston Celtics -7
Milwaukee is 23-37 straight up this year. The Bucks are 0-5 ATS their last 5 home games and they are 0-4 ATS when their opponent scores 100 or more points in their last game. The Bucks are 1-4 ATS their last 5 games off a straight up loss. Boston is 45-15 straight up this year. The Celtics are 11-1 ATS on Sunday and they are 20-7 ATS after allowing 100 or more points in their last game. The Celtics are 7-3-1 ATS their last 11 games off an ATS loss in their last game. Prediction: New York Knicks -6.5
Doc’s COMP Pick: Wednesday February 23nd 2011-Take #712 New York -7 over Milwaukee (7:35pm est): Perfect spot for the New York Knicks to debut their new look team tonight. They are well rested and get a Milwaukee Bucks team that is coming off a ugly win last night. New York has been looking for a spark and that should come tonight with Carmelo Anthony joining the team. The Knicks come in having covered five straight against the Eastern Conference. They have had no problems beating up the lesser teams all season as they are currently 12-4 ATS when facing a team with a win pct. below .400 on the year. New York has been inconsistent all season but have somehow managed to cover 66% of their last 44 games overall, which comes as surprise to most and proves the Knicks are an underrated team. Milwaukee has struggled to get anything going this season having only covered three of their last ten games following a win. They are just 2-5 against the number when facing a team with a winning home record. Head coach Scott Skiles has always got his Bucks teams to fight in the past but that hasn’t been the case as much of late as Milwaukee has lost ten of their last eleven games by six points or more and in those eleven games the Bucks have lost by an average of nine points per defeat. Lastly keep in mind the Knicks were badly embarrassed back at the beginning of the year against the Bucks, losing by 27 points in their only contest between the two teams so far this season. If there were ever a game the Knicks want to pour it on it will be this one, not so much because of the earlier season loss (though that fact doesn’t hurt) but more or less to make a statement to the rest of the NBA tonight. Play New York to win and cover this one.

Prediction: Atlanta Hawks +3
The high hopes of the Phoenix Suns have been dashed by their tenth position in the West heading into the break. The Suns have dropped four of their last five contests against the number when playing at US Airways Arena. These two met back in November and the Suns handed the Hawks their first loss of the season shooting 57 percent from the field in Atlanta. Hawks guard Joe Johnson scorched them for thirty-four in the loss and teammate center Al Horford dropped thirty on the Suns defense that day. Atlanta had matchup issues in that game that they do not have tonight and this should be a much different outcome as we expect the Hawks to give the Suns all they can handle and shock them in the desert with a road victory. Atlanta coming off an ATS loss as an underdog in their last two games has bounced back with a record of 17-7 ATS with games in this price range. If they are an underdog, their record improves to 11-3 ATS and if they are on the non-conference road, they are a perfect 6-0 against the number. The Phoenix Suns coming off two home games and now a home favorite in this price range are just 4-13-1 ATS. If they went over as a home underdog in their last game and now a favorite they are a miserable 0-6-1 ATS in that situation. A check of our systems database revealed three powerful league-wide winners that are active for tonight’s game. Play AGAINST NBA home teams after losing and going over as a home underdog in their last game, these teams are 92-136-8 ATS. If they are installed as a home favorite in this situation, they are 37-70-2 ATS. If they lost as a home underdog in their last game and now installed as a home favorite in this price range they are only 26-47-1 ATS. Take the points with the Hawks as they shock the Suns and get a road victory on Wednesday night in the desert. -Robbie Gainous (Handicapperspicks.com)
