WEEK 7 NFL OVER UNDER PICKSHere at BetUS Sportsbook, we’ve always got our pulse on the top football trends that the game has to offer. On Sunday, we have a list of three games that are targeted as ‘over’ contests. Check out the high scoring football trends in these winners!

New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys
Game Date/Time: Monday, October 25th, 8:30 ET
Game Location: Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, TX
TV/Radio Broadcast: ESPN, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: New York Giants (+3.5) -120 VS. Dallas Cowboys (-3.5) +100: Over/Under 44.5

The oddsmakers are banking on a higher scoring game in this one, but there might not be enough points there on the total to avoid falling into the trap of these football trends. The ‘over’ has gone 6-2-1 the L/9 meetings of these division rivals, and the average final score has reached 51.8 points per game in that stretch as well. Dallas’ offense has put at least 20 on the board in its L/4 games and is tending to get pass happy, which creates more scoring chances, while the G-Men have suddenly dropped 62 points on the board in the L/2 weeks.

Oakland Raiders vs. Denver Broncos
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 24th, 4:05 ET
Game Location: Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium, Denver, CO
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Oakland Raiders (+8) -105 VS. Denver Broncos (-8) -115: Over/Under 41.5

These two teams have combined to go 9-3 this year for ‘over’ bettors, which definitely is a great sign for high scoring football trends on Sunday. The Oakland defense has only held two foes under 24 points this year, and we don’t foresee Kyle Orton and company being held in the same light as the 49ers and Rams. Denver, on the other hand, has now conceded an average of 25.5 points per game in its L/4 overall. For whatever reason, the oddsmakers refuse to realize just how strong of an offense that Josh McDaniels has to work with, and it could once again bite them in the butt with another ‘over’ come Sunday.

Cleveland Browns vs. New Orleans Saints
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 24th, 1:00 ET
Game Location: Bank of America Field, Charlotte, NC
TV/Radio Broadcast: Fox, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Cleveland Browns (+13) -110 vs. New Orleans Saints (-13) -110: Over/Under 43

If you don’t think that Colt McCoy was nothing more than a flash in the pan last week, this is a great play. The Browns have enough pieces to the puzzle to at least score some points, while the defense is bad enough to get torched in the secondary quite a bit by the Saints. In four of New Orleans’ L/5 games, at least one team has scored at least 25 points, and if that happens once again, it isn’t going to take all that much for the Browns to push this one ‘over’ the ‘total’, especially knowing that their ‘D’ has allowed at least 20 in four straight.

Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 24th, 1:00 ET
Game Location: M&T Field, Baltimore, MD
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Buffalo Bills (+13) -110 vs. Baltimore Ravens (-13) -110: Over/Under 39

The bottom line here: Buffalo isn’t winning this game. There’s no reason that we have to believe that the Ravens, who look like one of the most dominating sides in the league at this point, can really be beaten in this one. We know that we’re only getting -800 on the moneyline, but by pro football standards, this is like adding a free 12.5 percent to all of your NFL round robin bets.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tennessee Titans
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 24th, 1:00 ET
Game Location: LP Field, Nashville, TN
TV/Radio Broadcast: Fox, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Philadelphia Eagles (+3) -110 vs. Tennessee Titans (-3) -110: Over/Under 43

No NFL round robin bets would be complete without tossing Tennessee’s moneyline into the mix. The Titans are a fantastic home team in general, but things just haven’t panned out that way this year. This is a great matchup to take advantage of, and we don’t believe that Kevin Kolb is capable of going on the road and surviving against this ferocious pass rush.

Oakland Raiders vs. Denver Broncos
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 24th, 4:05 ET
Game Location: Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium, Denver, CO
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Oakland Raiders (+8) -105 vs. Denver Broncos (-8) -115: Over/Under 41.5

Kyle Orton and company probably aren’t going to find a way to lose this game at home. The Raiders really aren’t that special, and though their secondary could give fits to this short passing attack, we tend to think that we are safe laying -400 odds to try to get a free little boost in our NFL round robin bets.

New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys
Game Date/Time: Monday, October 25th, 8:30 ET
Game Location: Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, TX
TV/Radio Broadcast: ESPN, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: New York Giants (+3.5) -120 vs. Dallas Cowboys (-3.5) +100: Over/Under 44.5

Finish up your NFL round robin bets on Monday Night Football betting with the Cowboys. We know that you’re not going to be thrilled about laying -180 chalk on a team that is just 1-4 on the season, especially against a division rival that has had a decent history playing in Big D, but this is too much of a must win game for Dallas to falter again. Plus, look at it this way… at least if the Cowboys lose, you get to watch and see what unfolds in “Jerry World” on Tuesday, as heads will be certain to roll!

NFL football betting teasers are always a great way to get an edge on the oddsmakers if a line is tight. We put up an easy winner last week, but our NFL betting Super Teaser should be back with vengeance in Week 6!

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Houston Texans
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 17th, 1:00 ET
Game Location: Reliant Stadium, Houston, TX
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Kansas City Chiefs (+4.5) -110 vs. Houston Texans (-4.5) -110: Over/Under 45

We know that this isn’t the greatest teaser number in the world, as we are only crossing over both ’3′s, but the Texans simply aren’t going to lose this game as long as they stay true to their game plan. The Kansas City secondary can certainly be had, though the Indianapolis Colts really didn’t display that last week. The more intriguing matchup is the fact that KC’s offense really shouldn’t be able to get anything going on the ground against a Houston ‘D’ that is only proficient in stopping the rush and awful against the pass. Unless all of a sudden, Matt Cassel and his band of no name receivers figured out how to work the pigskin up the field, we’ll take our chances in NFL betting action with Houston in what might be a must win game.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 17th, 1:00 ET
Game Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
TV/Radio Broadcast: Fox, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Atlanta Falcons (+3) -125 vs. Philadelphia Eagles (-3) +105: Over/Under 42.5

As long as Michael Vick doesn’t go in this one, it feels like we’re taking candy from a baby in this NFL betting affair. You beat the Falcons by throwing the ball deep against these suspect corners. Kevin Kolb hasn’t proven that he can do that quite yet, even with Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson, the twin speedsters, running routes for him. Atlanta’s rushing game should be good enough to at least keep this game remotely close, though we know that we are getting the better team in the game and nearly two full touchdowns on our side when we are backing the Falcons in this teaser.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Washington Redskins
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 17th, 8:20 ET
Game Location: FedEx Field, Landover, MD
TV/Radio Broadcast: NBC, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Indianapolis Colts (-3) -115 vs. Washington Redskins (+3) -105: Over/Under 44

Ask yourself this question. Are the Colts really going to lose a game by more than a touchdown any time in the near future? If Peyton Manning is really on the field for the full 60 minutes, it isn’t happening. Surely, Washington might be able to steal this NFL betting affair, as we know that the Colts have looked iffy at best on the road so far this season, but to win by more than a TD? Preposterous!

My NFL Week 6 Teaser Pick: 10-point super teaser – Houston Texans (+5.5) / Atlanta Falcons (+13) / Indianapolis Colts (+7)

NFL Odds: Colts vs. Jaguars Betting Prediction: October 3rd 2010

NFL Odds are our specialty here at BetUS Sportsbook, and we’re back with yet another great duel to bring you between the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
CLICK HERE FOR MIKE ROSE’ EXPERT NFL PICKS

Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 3rd, 4:05 ET
Game Location: Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, Jacksonville, FL
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Indianapolis Colts (-7) -110 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (+7) -110: Over/Under 46

The Colts really looked like they were running a clinic last week at Mile High Stadium, as they devoured the NFL odds and smashed the Broncos 27-13 in a game that was never really out of their control. Yes, Indianapolis had several tense moments in the game, but every time something big was needed, No. 18 stepped up to the plate.

Peyton Manning is still one of the best in the biz, and his numbers prove it once again this year. Manning has thrown for 1,013 yards and nine TDs without tossing an INT on the year, and his 69.1 completion percentage is amongst the best in the NFL.

The question, as always, is whether the Colts can stop the run or not. They did so last week with no problems, holding Denver to just 47 yards on 18 carries, but the Jags have averaged 180.6 YPG on the ground in their L/8 against them.

As for the Jaguars, they’re going to have their work cut out for them if they want to beat the NFL odds on Sunday.

David Garrard not only has to look over his shoulder at Luke McCown now, but at the newly acquired Trent Edwards as well. Garrard is only completing 59.5 percent of his passes for 448 yards and four scores against five picks this year, numbers which certainly aren’t good enough at this level.

The Jags were outgained by 213 yards last week in a 28-3 home defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles, which might signal the beginning of the end of the 2010 season. Jacksonville has allowed 66 points over the L/2 weeks against playoff caliber opponents, but neither of them are up to the level of Manning and the Colts. Needless to say, it will be an uphill climb to conquer the NFL odds in this one.

NFL Insider Tip: The Jags are just 7-25 ATS in their L/32 games on grass against the NFL odds.
This is just a bad case of a big time mismatch for the Jags. Jacksonville just isn’t ready to step up to the plate and beat this type of a team, regardless of whether it is home or away. Put up more nail in Jack Del Rio’s coffin as the head coach of the Jaguars.

Peyton and company will beat the NFL odds on Sunday.

My NFL Predictions: Indianapolis Colts (-7) -110

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns Pick & Odds: October 3rd 2010

NFL predictions are our specialty here at BetUS Sportsbook, and we aren’t going to leave any stone unturned in our analysis of this Sunday’s duel between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 3rd, 1:00 ET
Game Location: Cleveland Browns Stadium, Cleveland, OH
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Football Odds: Cincinnati Bengals (-3) -115 vs. Cleveland Browns (+3) -105: Over/Under 37.5

For the Bengals, this is going to be a tough road trip for a team that has just played miserable ball away from Paul Brown Stadium of late. They did get over the hump last week in a 20-7 victory over the Carolina Panthers, but the hosts looked absolutely hopeless on offense with rookie Jimmy Clausen at the helm.

Head coach Marvin Lewis knows that another sloppy game like that is going to be the death of his team. Carson Palmer still doesn’t quite look right this year. He has thrown for 707 yards and has done a good job keeping all of his receivers happy, but a 56.6 completion percentage and a 3/3 TD/INT ratio just isn’t going to cut it.

For the Browns, Jake Delhomme is going to be back under center after a two game absence. He threw for 227 yards in a Week 1 defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he is clearly the choice for head coach Eric Mangini under center when he is healthy.

Jerome Harrison was supposed to be the man toting the rock this year on the ground, but thanks to a thigh injury, Peyton Hillis has had a chance to shine. The former member of the Denver Broncos had 144 yards on the ground last week, giving him 220 and three TDs on the season. He was the reason that Cleveland turned up on the right side of Week 3 NFL predictions in a 24-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on the road.

Cleveland’s defense hasn’t been torched this year that badly, as it has held two of its three opponents to 17 points or less. The pass defense did allow three TDs last week, but it has kept foes to just 199.0 yards per game for the year.

NFL Insider Tip: The Browns are 8-1 ATS over their L/2 seasons in the month of October, making this a month of particularly successful NFL predictions.

Cleveland is the pick in this game. This has been a feisty team all season long and it only seems like a matter of time until it figures out how to win a game outright. The Bengals have only covered one of their L/14 against opponents in Week 4, so for whatever reason, this appears to be a cursed week.

Cleveland makes for our top NFL predictions on Sunday.

My NFL Predictions: Cleveland Browns (+3) -105

Week 4 NFL Over-Under Picks: Bet On These High Scoring Games: October 3rd 2010

CLICK HERE FOR MIKE ROSE’ EXPERT FOOTBALL PICKS

Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars: Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 3rd, 1:00 ET: Game Location: Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, Jacksonville, FL: TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius3

NFL Odds: Indianapolis Colts (-7) -110 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (+7) -110: Over/Under 46

Peyton Manning can run up and down the field with any team in the league, but against Jacksonville, he always seems to shine. Football trends suggest that the Colts have scored at least 28 in four of the L/6 meetings with the Jags, five of which have gone past the number. Remember that Jacksonville’s offense is under a lot of heat right now and David Garrard now has Trent Edwards watching behind him ready to take his job.

New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins: Game Date/Time: Monday, October 4th, 8:30 ET: Game Location: Sun Life Stadium, Miami, FL: TV/Radio Broadcast: ESPN, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: New England Patriots (-1) -110 vs. Miami Dolphins (+1) -110: Over/Under 46.5

We already know just how bad the Pats are this year defensively, and you don’t have to look any further than the 30 points that were allowed to the Buffalo Bills to prove that. We also know that Tom Brady and the gang have the top scoring offense in the league at 30.0 points per game. However, the football trends that you probably didn’t know about suggest that the Fins are 7-1-1 in their L/9 home games for ‘over’ bettors. Ignore the fact that Miami was one of the lowest scoring teams in the league through two weeks of play and focus in on the fact that it gave up over 30 last week to the New York Jets. Go with the ‘over’ yet again.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Atlanta Falcons: Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 3rd, 1:00 ET: Game Location: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA: TV/Radio Broadcast: Fox, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: San Francisco 49ers (+7) -110 vs. Atlanta Falcons (-7) -110: Over/Under 42.5

This is a solid matchup for both of these offenses, as the Falcons are still relatively weak in the secondary going against a San Francisco team that has the ability to stretch the field if Alex Smith gets some time to stand in the pocket. On the other side of the ball, the 49ers have just been atrocious this year, allowing the most points in the league at 87 through three games. Last year, these teams combined for 55 points in a 45-10 romp for the Falcons. San Fran has played 11 of its L/13 in the month of October past the number. If you’re looking for more great football trends, these teams are a combined 4-1-1 this year for ‘over’ bettors as well.
