Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars: Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 3rd, 1:00 ET: Game Location: Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, Jacksonville, FL: TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius3

NFL Odds: Indianapolis Colts (-7) -110 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (+7) -110: Over/Under 46

Peyton Manning can run up and down the field with any team in the league, but against Jacksonville, he always seems to shine. Football trends suggest that the Colts have scored at least 28 in four of the L/6 meetings with the Jags, five of which have gone past the number. Remember that Jacksonville’s offense is under a lot of heat right now and David Garrard now has Trent Edwards watching behind him ready to take his job.

New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins: Game Date/Time: Monday, October 4th, 8:30 ET: Game Location: Sun Life Stadium, Miami, FL: TV/Radio Broadcast: ESPN, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: New England Patriots (-1) -110 vs. Miami Dolphins (+1) -110: Over/Under 46.5

We already know just how bad the Pats are this year defensively, and you don’t have to look any further than the 30 points that were allowed to the Buffalo Bills to prove that. We also know that Tom Brady and the gang have the top scoring offense in the league at 30.0 points per game. However, the football trends that you probably didn’t know about suggest that the Fins are 7-1-1 in their L/9 home games for ‘over’ bettors. Ignore the fact that Miami was one of the lowest scoring teams in the league through two weeks of play and focus in on the fact that it gave up over 30 last week to the New York Jets. Go with the ‘over’ yet again.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Atlanta Falcons: Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 3rd, 1:00 ET: Game Location: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA: TV/Radio Broadcast: Fox, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: San Francisco 49ers (+7) -110 vs. Atlanta Falcons (-7) -110: Over/Under 42.5

This is a solid matchup for both of these offenses, as the Falcons are still relatively weak in the secondary going against a San Francisco team that has the ability to stretch the field if Alex Smith gets some time to stand in the pocket. On the other side of the ball, the 49ers have just been atrocious this year, allowing the most points in the league at 87 through three games. Last year, these teams combined for 55 points in a 45-10 romp for the Falcons. San Fran has played 11 of its L/13 in the month of October past the number. If you’re looking for more great football trends, these teams are a combined 4-1-1 this year for ‘over’ bettors as well.

Denver Broncos vs. Tennessee Titans
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 3rd, 1:00 ET
Game Location: LP Field, Nashville, TN
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Denver Broncos (+6.5) -110 vs. Tennessee Titans (-6.5) -110: Over/Under 43

Last week, the Titans were good to us in football betting action, as they pulled the upset in easy fashion against the New York Giants. However, this week, we think the tables are going to turn. Tennessee’s defense hasn’t faced a passing attack like this all season long, and the end result is probably going to be a “titanic” problem. Remember that this unit ranked dead last in the NFL last year for the majority of the season in pass defense, and the loss of Kyle Vanden Bosch isn’t helping that any. The Broncos should be able to get just enough going on the ground with either Knowshon Moreno or Laurence Maroney, and Kyle Orton should be able to do the rest. We love the speed of the front seven of the Broncos to contain the speed of Chris Johnson, and the rest, as they say, will be history.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Atlanta Falcons
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 3rd, 1:00 ET
Game Location: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA
TV/Radio Broadcast: Fox, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: San Francisco 49ers (+7) -110 vs. Atlanta Falcons (-7) -110: Over/Under 42.5

The football betting odds are clearly stacked against the 49ers this week, as they are 0-3, dead last in the NFC West, and facing arguably the toughest task of any of the teams in the division. However, is there any coach that you’d rather have in the NFL when you back is against the wall than Mike Singletary? He just finds ways to make this work. And don’t think for one second that Singletary isn’t reminding his players about that 45-10 beat down that the Falcons issued the Niners last year in front of their hometown crowd. At some point, Alex Smith has to be able to stretch the field to Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree, and in spite of the fact that this Atlanta defense has excelled this year in pass coverage, it is definitely a unit that can be had. Frank Gore is coming off of some better games in recent weeks as well. If the defense can contain Michael Turner and Jason Snelling, Gore should be able to rule the day and take care of the Falcons in a huge football betting upset. Take the Broncos and 49ers in our Rabid Dawg Parlay to cash in with football betting parlay odds of roughly 11 to 1!

Oakland Raiders vs. Arizona Cardinals
Game Date/Time: Sunday, September 26th, 4:15 ET
Game Location: University of Phoenix Stadium, Phoenix, AZ
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Oakland Raiders (+4.5) -110 vs. Arizona Cardinals (-4.5) -110: Over/Under 39.5

This is a great spot to be snaring the Raiders this week. Tom Cable’s club fought valiantly to capture the outright win against the St. Louis Rams last week, and we can’t help but wonder if that was the first step towards putting these guys back on the map. The Cards were trounced last week against the Atlanta Falcons, and though they aren’t nearly that bad and are a significantly better club at home, they aren’t beating anyone by more than two TDs on a regular basis in NFL betting action this season.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Game Date/Time: Sunday, September 26th, 1:00 ET
Game Location: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa Bay, FL
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Pittsburgh Steelers (-1.5) -110 vs. Cleveland Browns (+1.5) -110: Over/Under 33.5

Either side of this game would probably work considering how low the ‘total’ is, but there is a significantly better chance of the Steelers blowing out the Bucs than vice versa. Pittsburgh has just played too well defensively. We aren’t so sure that Tampa Bay is going to be able to figure out how to score nine points let alone win by that many. This is a prototypical spot where we just bank on the black and gold ‘D’ to carry us to an NFL betting victory whether a ‘W’ is in the cards for the Steelers or not.

New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins
Game Date/Time: Sunday, September 26th, 8:20 ET
Game Location: Sun Life Stadium, Miami, FL
TV/Radio Broadcast: NBC, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: New York Jets (+1.5) -110 vs. Miami Dolphins (-1.5) -110: Over/Under 35.5

Here we are again with another game where we pit a dominating defense against a questionable offense, and our NFL betting instincts tell us that the Jets should easily be able to, if nothing else, stick within double digits in this game. The play of Mark Sanchez has been acceptable this year, and that’s all that he has to be in this game for us to stick in front of this number: acceptable. If the “Sanchise” doesn’t throw multiple picks and the special teams doesn’t totally fail, we just don’t see a way that Miami is scoring enough with an offense that is strictly based on its ground game to be able to cover this type of a number.

My Week 3 NFL Teaser Pick: 10-point super teaser – Oakland Raiders +14.5/Pittsburgh Steelers +8.5/New York Jets +11.5

Tennessee Titans vs. New York Giants
Game Date/Time: Sunday, September 26th, 1:00 ET
Game Location: New Meadowlands Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Tennessee Titans (+3) -110 vs. New York Giants (-3) -110: Over/Under 42.5

The Titans were embarrassed last week at home by the Pittsburgh Steelers, but this week presents an entirely different type of challenge for them. The Giants historically have a hard time stopping the run, something that Pittsburgh obviously had no troubles doing last week. If Chris Johnson can get going, there is no telling how strong the Titans can look to their foes.

New York is also in a bit of turmoil right now, as there are a plethora of injuries to deal with. Antrel Rolle also spouted off this week, stating that the team doesn’t have the proper leadership to go the Super Bowl.

This is all something that Tennessee can feed off of. Last week, the team turned the ball over seven times. That simply won’t happen again. If the ‘D’ can contain the Giants offensively, it’s going to look like the wrong team is favored in this football betting battle.

San Diego Chargers vs. Seattle Seahawks
Game Date/Time: Sunday, September 26th, 4:15 ET
Game Location: Qwest Field, Seattle, WA
TV/Radio Broadcast: CBS, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: San Diego Chargers (-5.5) -110 vs. Seattle Seahawks (+5.5) -110: Over/Under 44

The Chargers looked simply awesome last week when they smacked the Jacksonville Jaguars, and did so without the services of Ryan Mathews for the majority of the game. Odds have it, the rookie out of Fresno State will be grounded again this week, which is just the beginning of the problems for San Diego.

The Bolts are taking a long road trip here to some treacherous territory. Qwest Field is historically one of the biggest pains to try to go into and take a football betting decision. The offense has enough confidence remaining from its 31-6 win over the San Francisco 49ers to be able to do some damage against the Chargers, who have only really survived this season based upon turnovers.

If the Seahawks can take care of the football, the hometown crowd will keep them in this game. This is the case of a football betting affair where one team plays terribly on the road and another plays well at home, and we plan on pouncing.

Take the Seahawks and Titans in our Rabid Dawg Parlay to cash in with football betting parlay odds of roughly 7 to 1!

Dallas Cowboys vs. Houston Texans Prediction & Odds: September 26th 2010

NFL Odds are our specialty here at BetUS Sportsbook, and we’re back with yet another great duel to bring you for Week 3 between the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Houston Texans
Game Date/Time: Sunday, September 26th, 1:00 ET
Game Location: Reliant Stadium, Houston, TX
TV/Radio Broadcast: Fox, Westwood One, Sirius

NFL Odds: Dallas Cowboys (+3) -125 vs. Houston Texans (-3) +105: Over/Under 47.5

The Cowboys are in a lot of trouble right now, and they’re in that deep doo thanks to their offense. The defense has done a suitable job, holding foes to just 279.0 yards and 20.0 points per game.

However, did you ever think that a team with a backfield of Felix Jones, Marion Barber, and Tashard Choice would average just 69.5 rushing yards per game?

That’s where Dallas sits right now, and it is spoiling the efforts of a passing attack that ranks second in the league with 325.5 yards per game. Give Tony Romo some credit, as he is doing his job to help beat the NFL odds. Romo has completed 66.3 percent of his passes for 656 yards. He only has two TD passes on the year, but he has certainly made a perennial Pro Bowler out of Miles Austin who leads the NFL in receptions with 20 and receiving yards with 288.

It has been a season of firsts for the Texans, and they are paying off with wins against the NFL odds. Arian Foster became the first running back to run for more than 225 yards in a game. Matt Schaub has become the first quarterback to throw for more than 450 yards. Andre Johnson and Kevin Walter became the first duo of receivers to have 100+ yards in the same game. Neil Rackers won the first overtime game in the history of the team as well.

Up next? The first playoff berth in team history.

A win on Sunday would move the Texans to 3-0 for, to no surprise, the first time in franchise history. The biggest question that Gary Kubiak has to have coming into this game is how his pass defense is going to hold up. The Houston Texans secondary is ranked dead last in the league with an average of 411.0 yards per game allowed.

However, when your offense is averaging 32.0 points and 440.5 yards per game, you can afford a few defensive blunders and still be 2-0 against the spread on the season.

NFL Insider Tip : The Cowboys are just 5-11 ATS in their L/16 on the road. The dead man that you see walking on the visitors sideline might just be Wade Phillips. That star on his chest might turn into a bulls-eye for Jerry Jones when this game is over, because the Texans are going to roll, which will drop the Dallas Cowboys to a woeful 0-3 on the year and on life support.

Go with Houston to beat the NFL odds on Sunday.

My NFL Predictions: Houston Texans (-3) +105
