Prediction: Portland Trailblazers +1.5
Dwight Howard will serve his 1-game suspension tonight when the Orlando Magic host the Portland Trail Blazers. NBA rules mandate an automatic one-game suspension when a player accumulates 16 technical fouls in a season. The Blazers are very strong inside with LaMarcus Aldridge, Marcus Camby and Gerald Wallace. Portland will dominate the paint tonight and will have a huge rebounding edge which will lead to a nice road victory for them. Orlando lost at Portland 97-83 on Dec. 9 despite 39 points and 15 rebounds from Howard. The rest of the Magic scored 44 points and shot 17 of 51 (33.3 percent). The Blazers are finally getting healthy with Brandon Roy and Camby recently returning to the line-up. They put together one of their most complete performances of the season with a 93-69 home victory over the Charlotte Bobcats last time out. This will only be Portland’s 2nd game in 5 days so they will be fresh and ready to go. The Trail Blazers are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Magic are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. Bet the Blazers Monday. -Jack Jones

Prediction: Sacramento Kings +4.5
On Monday the NBA Free system play is on the Sacramento Kings. Game 514 at 10:00 eastern. The Kings fit a solid home dog system here tonight. What we want to do is play on home dogs of 4.5 or less with 1 or more day of rest with a total of 190 or higher and scored 100 or more as a road dog vs an opponent that scored 110 or more as a home favorite. Home dogs in this system actually win the game outright 14 of 18 times and cover to a 15-3 mark. Houston is just 4-9 off a win of 10 or more points. Look for the Kings to ground the Rockets. On Monday I have the NBA Non Conference Total of the Month with a 100% Totals system that beats the line by 16 points + 98% NBA System side and an NCAAB Conference Tournament Pure Power 20-0 Angle. Jump on and Cash Big tonight. NCABB On a 15-5 run after Cashing Florida St and NBA 17 Games over winning with Milwaukee. On Monday night I will have an additional free play on the weekly sports talk radio show at 8:05 eastern. Listen online at 88.9 wsia.fm. For the free play take the Sacramento Kings. -Rob Vinciletti

Prediction: Utah Jazz +7
While your initial thought might be to load up on the Knicks at home, this is a very tired New York team. Tonight’s game will be their fifth in the last seven days, and that really takes a toll on teams this late in the season. Utah on the other hand will have some fresh legs, as they get ready to play just their third game in the same time span. New York has also failed to win back to back games since they acquired Carmelo Anthony, and just won at Atlanta yesterday. New York is just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite of 5.0-10.5, and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a SU win of more than 10 points. Bet Utah! -Steve Janus

Prediction: Charlotte Bobcats +1.5
The Bobcats are expected to be without Stephen Jackson, but the Clippers are expected to be without Eric Gordon. The loss of Gordon is a serious matter, considering the Clippers are only 4-16 without him. His loss is compounded by the fact that L.A. is playing this one on the road, where it is just 5-25 on the season. Charlotte has lost 4 straight, but all of those defeats came of the road. The Bobcats have been much better on their home floor, where they have won 3 straight and 4 of their last 5. 2 of the victories in this stretch have come against Boston and the L.A. Lakers. The Bobcats’ last defeat was a brutal 93-69 loss at Portland. History tells us it is a great idea to get behind the Bobcats after such a poor offensive performance. In fact, they are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games after scoring less than 75 points in their previous game. The Clippers are a disappointing 16-42 ATS in their last 58 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 0-6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a road favorite. Take the points. -Jimmy Boyd (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Oklahoma City Thunder -8
Off three straight losses to three of the best teams in the NBA (Spurs, Magic, Lakers), the Thunder will be ready to take out their frustrations on the Pacers this evening. In addition to its motivational edge, OKC also has the edge in terms of freshness. The Thunder have had two days to gear up for this one while the Pacers just played last night. With this in mind, I can’t fail to mention that the Pacers are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games when playing without a day of rest. It also can’t be ignored that Indiana is 1-8 ATS when matched up against a good team (Win Pct. 60% to 70%) this season, losing to these foes by an average score of 100.7 to 90.1. It is also worth noting that the Pacers are 6-18 ATS as a road underdog of 6.5 to 9 points over the last 2 seasons, losing these contests by an average score of 107.1 to 94.3. We’ll lay the points. -Jimmy boyd

Pick: Portland Trailblazers -3
Sacramento is 15-43 straight up this year. The Kings are 17-37-1 ATS their 55 games as underdogs 0.5 to 4.5 points. The Kings are 2-5 ATS their last 7 games as underdogs. The Kings are 10-29-1 ATS their last 40 games as home underdogs. Portland is 33-27 straight up this year. The Blazers are 25-10-3 ATS their last 38 games as road favorites. The Blazers are 6-0-1 ATS their last 7 road games vs. a team with home win percentage of less than 40%. Portland is 26-11-1 ATS when playing with no rest. The Blazers are 4-0 ATS at Sacramento. PLAY ON PORTLAND -Tom Freese

Pick: Washington Wizards +1
We think Washington gets back in the win column tonight against a Golden State team that has been playing pretty badly on the road, dropping eight of their last 11 games away from home. The Wizards have had a pretty brutal schedule lately and most of their winnable games have been on the road, where they are hopeless. However, this team is decent at home and we just think that they give their best effort tonight against an opponent that they can beat. The Warriors come in on a back-to-back after playing a pretty uninspiring game last night in Indiana. Golden State is not the same offensive team on the road and Washington plays decent defense at home so we just don’t think the Warriors can run away with this one by simply outscoring their opponent. The Wizards have won three of the last four meetings straight up and have covered in four of the last five. -Doc’s Sports (Handicapperspicks.com)

Prediction: Hawks vs. Pistons Under 185.5
Atlanta is struggling from the floor and they need some offense, but their defense is very solid. Detroit is playing better defense, but Rip Hamilton still out and this should be a tight and competitive game tonight. Atlanta has went UNDER 6 out of the last 7 games and though Harrington is back, they will struggle here tonight against a feisty Pistons team looking fro a win. I like the Under here. -Tony George

Prediction: Portland Trailblazers -2.5
Minnesota is 13-41 straight up this year. The Timberwolves are 4-10 ATS their last 14 games overall and they are 3-11 ATS their last 14 games as underdogs. Minnesota 7-18-1 ATS their last 26 games as home underdogs. The Timberwolves are 3-8 ATS their last 11 home games. Portland is 30-24 straight up this year. The Blazers are 18-7-1 ATS their last 26 games as road favorites of 0.5 to 4.5 points. Portland is 4-1 ATS after scoring 100 or more points in their last games. The Blazers are 4-1 ATS their last 5 Monday games and they are 5-2-1 ATS their last 8 games as favorites. PLAY ON PORTLAND -Tom Freese

Prediction: Atlanta Hawks -4.5
If back-to-back home defeats aren’t enough to get Atlanta’s blood boiling, recalling a 103-80 loss the last time it visited Detroit will certainly do the trick. Right away, I like the fact that road favorites out to avenge an upset loss to an opponent, provided they are also coming off an upset loss at home, are an impressive 79-39 ATS since 1996. In addition, plays against home teams that are extremely tired – playing their 5th game in 7 days – and provided they are a poor team winning only 25% to 40% of their games on the season, are 116-66 ATS since 1996, including 5-1 ATS this season. The Pistons are coming off an exhausting defeat to Portland Sunday. The Hawks, meanwhile, have had a day to rest, and they have only played 2 games in the last 6 days. I’ll back the fresher, more talented Hawks in this motivated spot. Lay the points. -Jimmy Boyd (Handicapperspicks.com)

Prediction: Spurs vs. Nets Under 190.5
One of the worst offenses in the league meets one of the best defenses in the league Monday when the New Jersey Nets host the San Antonio Spurs. New Jersey is scoring a woeful 92.8 PPG this season, while the Spurs give up 96.3 PPG. The Nets are playing solid defense this year, though, as they allow just 96.8 PPG at home. Taking a look at recent meetings in this series, it’s easy to see that there is some value with this UNDER tonight. The UNDER is 17-6 in the last 23 meetings. In fact, the Spurs and Nets have combined to score 190 or less points in 21 of those 23 meetings. The UNDER is 9-2 in Spurs last 11 games playing on 1 days rest. The UNDER is 6-1 in Spurs last 7 vs. a team with a losing S.U. record. The Nets are 6-1 to the UNDER in their last 7 vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. Roll with the UNDER in this game Monday. -Jack Jones

Prediction: Portland Trailblazers -2.5
Believe it or not, NBA home teams are on a dismal 22-48-1 ATS run since the beginning of February. Tie that knowledge up with the fact that Toronto is currently on a shocking 1-15 SU and 6-10 ATS run of its own in its last 16 games and you have more than enough support to lay this small number with the Trailblazers on Friday night! If you’re worried about fading the Raptors as a home dog, rest your mind at ease. According to my NBA database, the Dinosaurs are a dismal 17-36-1 ATS priced as a home pup including a miserable 5-18-1 ATS in their last 24 in this role checking in without momentum off a straight up loss. In addition, Toronto has struggled in this series lately posting a soft 2-7 SU and 3-6 ATS record in the last nine meetings. Surprisingly, Portland has performed well on foreign courts notching a respectable 48-32-3 ATS record as of late including a stunning 23-8-1 ATS in this set priced as a favorite of -7′ or less. With those two parameters in play and the Trailblazers scooting in with momentum off a SU and ATS victory, this team trend explodes to a jaw-dropping 13-0 SU and ATS in its last 13 tries! The Raptors are one of the NBA worst defensive teams in the paint and surging Blazers big-man LaMarcus ALdridge will do some serious damage inside tonight. Take Portland. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.

Prediction: San Antonio Spurs -3.5
I’m laying the points with the Spurs on Friday night. I am well aware of Philadelphia’s strong home numbers, not to mention their outstanding overall spread record. But they are simply out-classed in this one and I expect a win and cover by the Spurs. San Antone have won and covered four straight. They crushed the Sixers in a November meeting in San Antonio. Philadelphia was going through a rough start to the season in that one and the Spurs rolled, winning by 23 points. Obviously, Philly has played much better since then, currently 21-15 SU in their last 36 games. But Philly finds themselves in a tough league-wide spot tonight involving teams that are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights. If those teams are at home and getting between 3 1/2 and 9 1/2 points, and they’re in revenge of a road loss by 20 points or more, they’ve covered just 21 of the last 71 games. San Antonio has won just two of their last 10 trips to the City of Brotherly Love, but the matchups are heavily in their favor in this one. I’m laying the points with the Spurs on Friday night. Thanks! GL! Scott Spreitzer (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Los Angeles Lakers -12.5
The Los Angeles Lakers are playing their best basketball of the season over the past couple weeks. Andrew Bynum has returned to the line-up, and as a result this team is basically at full strength right now. The Lakers are 8-1 in their last 9 games overall, including blowout home wins by 22 over the Knicks and 55 over the Cavaliers in their past two home games. I simply do not believe the Nets came keep up with the Lakers on the scoreboard. Neew Jersey is scoring just 92.4 PPG this season and 92.0 PPG on the road, while the Lakers are putting up 103.8 PPG overall and 104.9 PPG at home. The Nets are yielding 100.5 PPG on the road, while the Lakers are allowing 94.7 PPG at home. New Jersey is 5-20 ATS versus explosive offensive teams – scoring 103+ points/game over the last 2 seasons. While the Lakers are playing their best basketball of the season, the Nets are in their worst stretch right now. New Jersey has gone 1-8 SU & 2-7 ATS in their last nine games overall. Not only are the Nets losing, but they have rarely even been competitive during this stretch. New Jersey has lost six of their last nine games by 14 points or more. They have lost five straight road games by 14, 21, 9, 15 and 20 points. That 15-point loss came to the Timberwolves, while the 20-point defeat came at the hands of the Wizards. The Nets are 1-9 ATS in road games after allowing 105 points or more 2 straight games over the last 2 seasons. New Jersey is 2-11 ATS in their last 13 road games overall. The Lakers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings with New Jersey, winning their last two home meetings by 19 and 27 points. Roll with the Lakers Friday. -Jack Jones Handicapperspicks.com

Pick: Butler Bulldogs -5
On Friday the NCAAB Free play is on Butler. Game 825 at 7:00 eastern. Butlers is 8-1 ats vs wining teams this year and 4-1 straight up and ats after scoring 80 or more in their last game. They have also covered 75% of the time as a road favorite from 3.5 to -6. Tonight they take on a Detroit team that is coming home off back to back road wins. This will be a tough game for Detroit, as they are mediocre vs Winning teams having lost 25 of 33 times. Usually they lose to Butler and hang around for a back door cover. Not tonight though as Butler is laying a manageable 6 points. ” The Butler did it” Lay the points with Butler. On Friday night fresh off yet Another Big 5* winner in the NBA we have 2 more NBA Perfect system beauties. The 5* NBA Dog of the Month in a system where the dog wins outright Every time. I also have the Western Conference 100% Totals system and a Huge NCAAB Power angle Play that 7 angles that apply. 7 UNIT NFL Playoff GOY goes this weekend from a system that dates to 1977. For the Free Play take Butler. -Rob Vinciletti

Pick: Portland Trailblazers -1
Motivated by consecutive defeats, expect the Blazers to get back in the win column tonight against a Phoenix team they have owned. These teams have already met 3 times this season and Portland has won all 3 meetings by at least 7 points. The Phoenix defense has been horrendous, allowing 108.9 ppg. This poor defense has allowed the Blazers to score more than 100 points in all 3 meetings this season. This is significant, considering Phoenix is just 2-10 ATS this season when looking to avenge a loss to an opponent if it allowed that opponent to score 100 or more points. The Suns are losing by an average score of 111.5 to 100.8 in this situation. Bet the Blazers. -Jeff Alexander
