Pick: Warriors vs. Spurs Under 210
On Monday the Free NBA Totals system play is on the under in the Golden State at San Antonio Sours game. Rotation numbers 611/612 at 8:30 eastern. This game fits a 90% system that dates to 1995 and is illustrated below for your viewing pleasure. What we want to do in this game is play the under for rested home favorites that scored 100 or more in their last game if they were favored by 10 or more points and are now taking on an opponent that scored 80 or less as a road dog of 5 or more in their last game. If the posted total is 190 or higher these games have gone under the total 9 of 10 times with 2 games landing on the number for a push. The Warriors have to take on the Spurs one night after getting pasted by the Dallas Mavericks. We note that the Warriors are have gone under in 10 of 13 games off 3 or more losses, 5 of 7 times as a road dog from +9.5 to +12 and 10 of 14 times in the second of back to back nights. The Spurs have played under in 6 of 7 games this season when the posted total is 210 or higher. Look for this one to play under the total here tonight. On Monday I have a Rare NBA Totals system that beats the Line by over 20 points. I also have the highest rated NIT Play going tonight from a scintillating 100% Power Angle. Unit rated College Tournament plays are cashing over 80% the last week. Jump on and start the week big. Tonight sports talk radio show segment on 88.9 wsia.fm will be moved to 8:30 eastern and I will have a free play in one of the upcoming sweet 16 Tournament games later this week. For the free play take the under in the Golden State at San Antonio game. -Rob Vinciletti

Pick: New York Knicks +2
Boston has dropped 3 of its last 4 on the road, and it will have its work cut out for itself against a Knicks team motivated by back-to-back defeats. With each of the last 3, and 5 of the last 6, meetings being decided by 4 points or less, I won’t hesitate to grab the points here. In addition, plays on home teams when the line is +3 to -3 off 2 or more consecutive road losses, a marginal winning team (51% to 60%) playing a winning team, are 56-26 ATS since 1996. Teams fitting into this situation have won by an average of 4.1 points. Also, New York has been exceptional in the underdog role. The Knicks are 24-8-2 ATS in their last 34 games as an underdog and 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games as an underdog of 4.5 or fewer points. Since the Knicks just played Sunday, it is also worth noting that they are 14-5-1 ATS in their last 20 games when playing without a day of rest. It must also be mentioned that Boston is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games as a road favorite. The home team is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings. The Celtics are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings and 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in New York. Take the Knicks. -Jimmy Boyd

Pick: Memphis Grizzlies -8
The Grizzlies have dominated their last two home games against bad teams, beating the Clippers by 23 and the Pacer by 21. The Jazz have looked ugly in a number of road games of late, and we look for them to come out flat against the Grizzles, as they had to play a tough high-scoring game against the Rockets yesterday. Memphis plays like an elite team on their home court. They are 24-10 SU and 21-12 ATS, including a 7-2 run over their last nine games at home as a favorite. Utah is just 7-20 ATS in their last 27 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game, and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 0 days rest. -Info Plays (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Detroit Pistons +7
The boys from the Motor City travel south for a meeting against the Hawks of ATL. The Pistons have struggled on the road straight up this season but they have done all right covering the number on the road as an underdog going 19-15 ATS. They are a much better road underdog than the Hawks are a home favorite; Atlanta is just 9-20 ATS when favored at home. These teams have gone in opposite directions in the scoring department over their last five games. Detroit is averaging 101 points per game their last five games (103.4 points per game L11 games) while Atlanta has seen their scoring production fall to 89.3 points per game over their last five contests. The Hawks scoring issues are even more pervasive as we see they are only averaging 88.3 points per game over their last fifteen contests, they will certainly need more production on the offensive end today to cover such a large number. A quick check of the database reveals several strong tech sets that support our play on the Pistons here are just a few. Atlanta is 11-22 ATS coming off a home game this season. The Hawks have also struggled when coming off a home loss, as they are 0-8 ATS in home games off a home loss this season and 5-21 ATS off a home blowout loss of 20 points or more since 1996. These particular Birds have not done a good job of rebounding from a home loss even if it was an embarrassing blowout loss, as our tech set would indicate. One final note Detroit has recently had the upper hand in this series going 5-2 against the number the last seven meetings. Take the points here as the Detroit Pistons give the Atlanta Hawks all they can stand on Sunday afternoon in ATL. -Robbie Gainous

Pick: Golden State +9.5
At 7:30 pm, our complimentary selection is on the Golden State Warriors plus the points over Dallas. Over the previous eight days, the Mavericks had two huge games — both at home — vs. the Los Angeles Lakers, and the San Antonio Spurs. And they lost both, 96-91 to L.A., and 97-91 to the Spurs. Neither game was as close as the final scores indicate, as Los Angeles held Dallas at arm’s length for much of the last three quarters, and the Spurs were up by double digits for much of their game. Dallas now has virtually no chance of catching Los Angeles for the No. 2 seed out west, and is actually much more likely to fall to No. 4 behind Oklahoma City, which has won six straight games. The Mavs have failed to cover seven of nine overall, and can’t be trusted to lay this many points to a Warriors squad that plays hard every game. Take Golden State. Good luck, as always…Al McMordie. Pick: Boston Celtics -2
I like the Boston Celtics to bounce back from one of their worst losses of the season last night. The Celtics are a team that rarely gets beaten in back-to-back games, and they have been surprisingly good on little rest. Boston is 19-5 ATS in road games off an embarrassing road loss scoring less than 80 points since 1996. The Celtics are 33-16 ATS in road games when playing their 5th game in 7 days since 1996. This is a Boston team that is also great to back when looking for revenge. The Celtics are 24-9 ATS in road games revenging a loss vs opponent over the last 3 seasons. Boston is 22-9 ATS in their last 31 games following a S.U. loss. The Hornets are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog of 0.5-4.5. Boston just has so much working in their favor going into this one, and I believe they get the job done tonight. Bet the Celtics Saturday. -Jack Jones

Pick: Bobcats vs. Spurs Under 191
This total has been jacked up way too high tonight in the Charlotte vs. San Antonio NBA showdown. Both teams will be playing the second of a back-to-back, with the Bobcats losing 82-99 at Oklahoma City and the Spurs winning 97-91 at Dallas last night. That means both squads will be a bit tired which certainly favors the ‘under’. 13 straight meetings between Charlotte & San Antonio have seen 189 or less combined points. That’s a perfect 13-0 UNDER angle pertaining to the total set listed tonight. Take the UNDER 191.5 points here. -Black Widow (Handicapperspicks.com)

NBA Picks for March 12th 2011: Wager On The Chicago Bulls And Houston Rockets

Pick: Chicago Bulls -10
The Utah Jazz are reeling right now and have no chance of keeping this game close against the surging Chicago Bulls. The Bulls can grab a share of the Eastern Conference lead with a win over the Jazz on Saturday night. Not since Jordan and Pippen led the Bulls to their last title in 1998 has there been this much excitement in Chicago. The Bulls pulled within one-half game of conference-leading Boston after a 94-76 win over Atlanta on Friday, their fourth straight win overall and 10th in a row at home. The Jazz have dropped 10 of their last 13, including a 122-101 loss at Minnesota on Friday. It was the third-most points allowed this season by Utah, which gave up a season-worst 131 against New York on Monday. In the last seven games, the Jazz have allowed 111.3 points per game while allowing opponents to shoot 50.4 percent from 3-point range. Chicago has been one of the best home teams in the league all season. The Bulls are 28-4 at home this year, winning by 10.0 points/game. The Jazz are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. Utah is 9-25 ATS in their last 34 games overall. The Bulls are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games. Take Chicago and lay the points. -Black Widow

Pick: Houston Rockets +2
The Houston Rockets catch the San Antonio Spurs in a tough spot tonight. San Antonio will be playing their 3rd game in 4 days and their second of a back-to-back. The Spurs were able to squeak by Detroit and Sacramento at home, but they won’t be so fortunate tonight. The Houston Rockets come into this game on 3 days’ rest so they are clearly going to be the fresher team. The home team has won four straight in this series and I fully expect the Rockets to defend their home court tonight. The Rockets are playing their best basketball of the season right now. Houston is 7-2 SU & 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall. The odds have been catching up to the Spurs of late as San Antonio is just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Spurs are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. Western Conference opponents. The Rockets are an offensive juggernaut this season, especially over the past month. Houston has scored 102 or more points in 13 of their last 14 games overall. They should not be an underdog at home considering how well they are playing and with the rest factor hugely in their favor. Bet Houston Saturday. -Jack Jones (Handicapperspicks.com)

NBA Predictions for February 11th 2011: Bet The Trailblazers And Spurs Friday

NBA Predictions: February 11th 2011

Prediction: Portland Trailblazers -2.5
Believe it or not, NBA home teams are on a dismal 22-48-1 ATS run since the beginning of February. Tie that knowledge up with the fact that Toronto is currently on a shocking 1-15 SU and 6-10 ATS run of its own in its last 16 games and you have more than enough support to lay this small number with the Trailblazers on Friday night! If you’re worried about fading the Raptors as a home dog, rest your mind at ease. According to my NBA database, the Dinosaurs are a dismal 17-36-1 ATS priced as a home pup including a miserable 5-18-1 ATS in their last 24 in this role checking in without momentum off a straight up loss. In addition, Toronto has struggled in this series lately posting a soft 2-7 SU and 3-6 ATS record in the last nine meetings. Surprisingly, Portland has performed well on foreign courts notching a respectable 48-32-3 ATS record as of late including a stunning 23-8-1 ATS in this set priced as a favorite of -7′ or less. With those two parameters in play and the Trailblazers scooting in with momentum off a SU and ATS victory, this team trend explodes to a jaw-dropping 13-0 SU and ATS in its last 13 tries! The Raptors are one of the NBA worst defensive teams in the paint and surging Blazers big-man LaMarcus ALdridge will do some serious damage inside tonight. Take Portland. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.

Prediction: San Antonio Spurs -3.5
I’m laying the points with the Spurs on Friday night. I am well aware of Philadelphia’s strong home numbers, not to mention their outstanding overall spread record. But they are simply out-classed in this one and I expect a win and cover by the Spurs. San Antone have won and covered four straight. They crushed the Sixers in a November meeting in San Antonio. Philadelphia was going through a rough start to the season in that one and the Spurs rolled, winning by 23 points. Obviously, Philly has played much better since then, currently 21-15 SU in their last 36 games. But Philly finds themselves in a tough league-wide spot tonight involving teams that are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights. If those teams are at home and getting between 3 1/2 and 9 1/2 points, and they’re in revenge of a road loss by 20 points or more, they’ve covered just 21 of the last 71 games. San Antonio has won just two of their last 10 trips to the City of Brotherly Love, but the matchups are heavily in their favor in this one. I’m laying the points with the Spurs on Friday night. Thanks! GL! Scott Spreitzer (Handicapperspicks.com)
