NBA Pick: Milwaukee Bucks +3
It might seem like easy money to lay the 3-points on the Nuggets at Milwaukee tonight, but I think it’s the Bucks who have the edge in this matchup. Milwaukee comes in off a 82-94 loss at Philadelphia yesterday, but that game was closer than the final score leads on. In fact, I believe it has added great value to the Bucks game tonight. Milwaukee is a perfect 4-0 at home this season, which includes a 106-103 win over San Antonio as a 2-point underdog. On the flip side, the Bucks have lost all 8 of their road games. The fact that they have played twice as many road games, has the public thinking poorly of this team. That perception allows oddsmakers to list the Bucks as a small underdog at home, even if they think they will win the game outright. Knowing that the public will be quick to jump on the Nuggets, if they really thought Denver was going to win this game they would likely have them favored by more than 3-points. This isn’t a guaranteed system by any means, but one that I have had some success with. There are some valuable trends that add even more value to this play. Milwaukee is 11-2 ATS in home games off a road loss by 10 points or more over the last 3 seasons and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a home underdog, while Denver is just 5-15 ATS in their last 20 games as a road favorite of 0.5-4.5. BET THE BUCKS +3 -Steve Janus

NBA Pick: Utah Jazz -4
The Utah Jazz are one of the most underrated teams in the league in the early going. This team has done a remarkable job of replacing Deron Williams in such a short period of time. They now play together more as a team than they did when they had Williams, and it’s starting to pay off. Utah is off to an impressive 8-4 start this season. The Jazz have been really hot of late, going 7-1 in their last 8 games with their only loss coming in overtime to the Los Angeles Lakers. Utah has gone 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as well. The Jazz are 6-1 SU & 5-2 ATS at home this season, outscoring opponents by 6.5 points/game. The Los Angeles Clippers are just 1-2 on the road this year, giving up 102.0 points/game and 48.7 percent shooting. A big reason for this play is that the Clippers are going to be without Chris Paul (hamstring) and Mo Williams (ankle), so they are certainly short-handed at the guard position. The Clippers are 25-45 ATS in their last 70 games following 3 or more consecutive wins. The Jazz have been playing tremendous defense, and they are an impressive 15-4 ATS after 5 straight games – allowing a shooting pct. of 42% or less. The Clippers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as a road underdog. The Jazz are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 home meetings with the Clippers. Bet Utah Tuesday. -Jack Jones. Pick: Jazz vs. Thunder Over 202
Utah and Oklahoma City face off on Wednesday night in Oklahoma with both teams entering off straight up losses in their last game. Our focus is not on who will win this contest our interest is the total as the oddsmakers have set it at 201.5 at the time of this writing and our numbers say that is too low. Utah has gone 39-32 Over this season including 23-13 Over on the highway, 4-1 Over their last five and 9-4 Over versus division opponents. Utah is averaging 98.4 points per game on the road this season while the Thunder are averaging 107 points per game at home. We note that Oklahoma City is 32-5 Over where both teams score 98 or more points in a game this season. Utah is 8-1 Over as a road underdog of 6.5 to 12 points. The Jazz are 15-5 Over when playing against a team winning sixty to seventy percent of their games during the second half of the season. Utah is 44-27 Over when playing their 3rd game in 4 days the last 3 seasons. The Jazz are 6-0 Over in this price range as an underdog coming off an ATS loss in their last game, if they are installed as a road underdog they are 5-0 Over. Oklahoma City is 29-18 Over as a favorite and 15-7 Over as a home favorite of 6.5 to 12 points. The Thunder are 20-9 Over after playing 2 consecutive games as a favorite this season. Oklahoma City Thunder coming off an ATS loss in their last game now facing a division opponent have gone Over at a rate of 117-84-2 ATS. This series has seen six of the last seven meetings go Over the posted total. Play this one Over on Wednesday night. -Robbie Gainous

Pick: Orlando Magic -1.5
The Knicks haven’t looked good at all lately, and really looked bad in the second half of their last game against the Celtics, where they blew a 14-point half-time lead. The Knicks are just 1-6 SU and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games. Orlando is 4-1 in their last five, and come in the much more rested team. This will be just the second game in the last five days for the Magic, while the Knicks will be playing their sixth game in the last nine days, and third in the last four. Playing at Madison Square Garden tends to bring the best out of opposing players, and the Magic are 3-0 in their last three trips to MSG. Orlando is 65-44 ATS versus poor defensive teams – allowing 99+ points/game over the last 3 seasons, winning by an average of 10 points a game. The Knicks are just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games as a home underdog of 0.5-4.5. Bet Orlando! -Steve Janus

Pick: Memphis Grizzlies +6.5
While the Celtics turned it on in their last game against the Knicks, you can’t ignore how bad they looked in the first half. Boston isn’t playing at the same level as they were earlier this season, and are just 4-4 in their last eight games. While Memphis will struggle to win this game, they have been as good as anyone at covering the spread on the road this season, going 22-14. Their success ATS at Boston is unreal. They are 13-0 ATS at Boston since 1996. The Celtics are just 1-9 ATS off a road win by 10 points or more this season, and 0-9 ATS in home games against Southwest division opponents over the last 2 seasons. -Info Plays

Pick: Toronto Raptors +9
A tough situational spot for the home team, with Phoenix playing its 3rd game in 4 nights. It’s also the second of a back to back spot after playing at the defending champion Lakers last night. Toronto has plenty of offense, averaging 99.3 ppg, and the Raptors are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest. Toronto is on a 2-1 SU/ATS run and the are Suns are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games. The road team is 3-1-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these teams. Play the Raptors! -Jim Feist (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Chicago Bulls -10
The Utah Jazz are reeling right now and have no chance of keeping this game close against the surging Chicago Bulls. The Bulls can grab a share of the Eastern Conference lead with a win over the Jazz on Saturday night. Not since Jordan and Pippen led the Bulls to their last title in 1998 has there been this much excitement in Chicago. The Bulls pulled within one-half game of conference-leading Boston after a 94-76 win over Atlanta on Friday, their fourth straight win overall and 10th in a row at home. The Jazz have dropped 10 of their last 13, including a 122-101 loss at Minnesota on Friday. It was the third-most points allowed this season by Utah, which gave up a season-worst 131 against New York on Monday. In the last seven games, the Jazz have allowed 111.3 points per game while allowing opponents to shoot 50.4 percent from 3-point range. Chicago has been one of the best home teams in the league all season. The Bulls are 28-4 at home this year, winning by 10.0 points/game. The Jazz are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. Utah is 9-25 ATS in their last 34 games overall. The Bulls are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games. Take Chicago and lay the points. -Black Widow

Pick: Houston Rockets +2
The Houston Rockets catch the San Antonio Spurs in a tough spot tonight. San Antonio will be playing their 3rd game in 4 days and their second of a back-to-back. The Spurs were able to squeak by Detroit and Sacramento at home, but they won’t be so fortunate tonight. The Houston Rockets come into this game on 3 days’ rest so they are clearly going to be the fresher team. The home team has won four straight in this series and I fully expect the Rockets to defend their home court tonight. The Rockets are playing their best basketball of the season right now. Houston is 7-2 SU & 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall. The odds have been catching up to the Spurs of late as San Antonio is just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Spurs are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. Western Conference opponents. The Rockets are an offensive juggernaut this season, especially over the past month. Houston has scored 102 or more points in 13 of their last 14 games overall. They should not be an underdog at home considering how well they are playing and with the rest factor hugely in their favor. Bet Houston Saturday. -Jack Jones (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Philadelphia 76ers +3
The Philadelphia 76ers are showing excellent value tonight as a home underdog to the Boston Celtics. Simply by name, the Celtics are a road favorite when they shouldn’t be. Boston is absolutely depleted right now and will get out-worked for four quarters by this deep 76ers team. Boston is without Delonte West, Shaq, Glen Davis, Von Wafer and Jermaine O’Neil. The Celtics had only seven players play more than eight minutes late time out in their 103-108 home loss to the Clippers. Their thin bench will do them in again tonight. The 76ers are the deepest team in the league with six players averaging in double-figures and 11 players averaging 10 minutes per game or more. While it’s hardly a surprise that no Eastern Conference team has more wins than the Boston Celtics, none having more than the Philadelphia 76ers over the past seven weeks certainly is. The 76ers have gone 16-6 since Jan. 21 – the only East team with a better record in that span is Chicago (16-4) – to climb to seventh in the conference. Philly has lost their first two meetings of the season to Boston by a combined 5 points, and I fully expect them to have their revenge in this one. The 76ers are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games as a home underdog of 0.5-4.5. Take Philly Friday. -Jack Jones

Pick: Utah Jazz +1
The Utah Jazz are fighting for their playoff lives. They should not be an underdog to the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. Look for Utah to build off of their huge last-second win over Toronto last time out and put forth a great effort Friday. Utah is 34-31 on the season while Minnesota is 16-50. Utah is a perfect 4-0 in their last 4 meetings with Minnesota. Minnesota is 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS win and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. victory. The Timberwolves are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 Friday games. Minnesota hasn’t won back-to-back games since February 7th and 8th. The Jazz are 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400. No question we are backing the right team in this one. Take the Jazz and the points. -Black Widow (Handicapperspicks.com)

Prediction: Portland Trailblazers +1.5
Dwight Howard will serve his 1-game suspension tonight when the Orlando Magic host the Portland Trail Blazers. NBA rules mandate an automatic one-game suspension when a player accumulates 16 technical fouls in a season. The Blazers are very strong inside with LaMarcus Aldridge, Marcus Camby and Gerald Wallace. Portland will dominate the paint tonight and will have a huge rebounding edge which will lead to a nice road victory for them. Orlando lost at Portland 97-83 on Dec. 9 despite 39 points and 15 rebounds from Howard. The rest of the Magic scored 44 points and shot 17 of 51 (33.3 percent). The Blazers are finally getting healthy with Brandon Roy and Camby recently returning to the line-up. They put together one of their most complete performances of the season with a 93-69 home victory over the Charlotte Bobcats last time out. This will only be Portland’s 2nd game in 5 days so they will be fresh and ready to go. The Trail Blazers are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Magic are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. Bet the Blazers Monday. -Jack Jones

Prediction: Sacramento Kings +4.5
On Monday the NBA Free system play is on the Sacramento Kings. Game 514 at 10:00 eastern. The Kings fit a solid home dog system here tonight. What we want to do is play on home dogs of 4.5 or less with 1 or more day of rest with a total of 190 or higher and scored 100 or more as a road dog vs an opponent that scored 110 or more as a home favorite. Home dogs in this system actually win the game outright 14 of 18 times and cover to a 15-3 mark. Houston is just 4-9 off a win of 10 or more points. Look for the Kings to ground the Rockets. On Monday I have the NBA Non Conference Total of the Month with a 100% Totals system that beats the line by 16 points + 98% NBA System side and an NCAAB Conference Tournament Pure Power 20-0 Angle. Jump on and Cash Big tonight. NCABB On a 15-5 run after Cashing Florida St and NBA 17 Games over winning with Milwaukee. On Monday night I will have an additional free play on the weekly sports talk radio show at 8:05 eastern. Listen online at 88.9 wsia.fm. For the free play take the Sacramento Kings. -Rob Vinciletti

Prediction: Utah Jazz +7
While your initial thought might be to load up on the Knicks at home, this is a very tired New York team. Tonight’s game will be their fifth in the last seven days, and that really takes a toll on teams this late in the season. Utah on the other hand will have some fresh legs, as they get ready to play just their third game in the same time span. New York has also failed to win back to back games since they acquired Carmelo Anthony, and just won at Atlanta yesterday. New York is just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite of 5.0-10.5, and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a SU win of more than 10 points. Bet Utah! -Steve Janus

Prediction: Charlotte Bobcats +1.5
The Bobcats are expected to be without Stephen Jackson, but the Clippers are expected to be without Eric Gordon. The loss of Gordon is a serious matter, considering the Clippers are only 4-16 without him. His loss is compounded by the fact that L.A. is playing this one on the road, where it is just 5-25 on the season. Charlotte has lost 4 straight, but all of those defeats came of the road. The Bobcats have been much better on their home floor, where they have won 3 straight and 4 of their last 5. 2 of the victories in this stretch have come against Boston and the L.A. Lakers. The Bobcats’ last defeat was a brutal 93-69 loss at Portland. History tells us it is a great idea to get behind the Bobcats after such a poor offensive performance. In fact, they are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games after scoring less than 75 points in their previous game. The Clippers are a disappointing 16-42 ATS in their last 58 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 0-6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a road favorite. Take the points. -Jimmy Boyd (Handicapperspicks.com)

Pick: Dallas Mavericks -11
The All-Star break can’t get here fast enough for this Kings team, which is dealing with tension between players and a foot injury to star guard Tyreke Evans. The Kings were crushed by 30 at Oklahoma City last night, and this one could get ugly as well. The Kings have played the Mavs tough in two prior meetings this season, losing by just two points in each. However, I expect the rested Mavs to flex their muscles this evening. The Mavericks have averaged 114.6 points on 51.7 percent shooting during a 13-game home winning streak over Sacramento that spans nearly 8 years. While many teams are motivated following such embarrassing defeats, the Kings haven’t been one of them lately. In fact, they are just 9-20 ATS in their last 29 games following a loss of more than 10 points and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game. The Kings are just 4-13-1 ATS in the last 18 meetings in Dallas, and I expect their struggles in the Big “D” to continue. Lay the points.

Pick: Utah Jazz -4.5
Utah is 28-14 ATS after playing a game as a road underdog over the last 2 seasons, and are 17-6 ATS after a road game where both teams score 100 or more points over the last 2 seasons. Utah is also 25-14 ATS versus poor defensive teams – allowing 99+ points/game – 2nd half of the season over the last 2 seasons. Golden State is just 6-18 on the road this season, and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a SU win of more than 10 points. -Info Plays

Pick: Loyola-Chicago -3
On Wednesday the Horizon League Power Play is on Loyola Chicago. Game 773 at 8:00 eastern. Loyola is 8-2 vs losing teams and has won and covered every times the past 3 years as a road favorite of 3 or less. They have won 11 of 15 games vs teams who score 65 or less points per game and are taking on an Illinois Chicago team that is 2-11 vs winning teams and 3-8 straight up and ats after scoring 60 or less points. They have lost 10 of 12 with revenge and are 2-13 in conference good for last place. In the battle of 2 windy city team take Illinois Chicago. On Wednesday its the 6* Double Perfect Conference USA goy and 2 Big NBA plays including eastern Conference Game of the Month and 100% Blowout system. Three Big games up now. -Rob Vinciletti (Handicapperspicks.com)
